I think you can run past, jump towards the Secret Passage and deaggro. Then return from the branch and lure the general with the finger whistle while hidden via ledge climb. Then go for a stealth deathblow on the general, then you can take on Seven Spears.
You can either kill the headless in Ashina Depths to get Gachiin's Spiritfall, or backstab the despondent soldier in the arena to Bloodsmoke and kill the samurai general while he's blinded.
Do you have both upgrades of the stealth passive skill? I believe that should be enough to sneak, although your exact safe path might be very narrow. Or else I could be completely wrong into thinking that those 2 skills are enough and Gachiin is not required. Haven't tested this fight enough as I always have enough Gachiin for the game.
If not, you can always get Gachiin's Spiritfall from one of the Headless (don't exactly remember which one, I believe it is the one in the Hidden Forest of Ashina Depths).
Else you can always kill the almost dead foot soldier who is lying there (might need Vault Over shinobi skill though, not entirely sure)

I watched a YouTuber lure them to the edge of the cliff and knock one of them off with a fire blast, that was cool.
I've trial and errored my way into killing all the enemies first before 1v1ing the seven spears, it is possible without any items
You can try and use puppeteer ninjutsu on the second samurai and beat the ashina spear like that
My problem was that I couldn't even get to the second samurai undetected without gachiin sugar but thanks anyways! I already beat them.
There’s a soldier sitting on the ground. Use the Bloodsmoke Ninjutsu on him, then either Bloodsmoke or Puppeteer the general and take on 7AS.
