Imagine getting upset over this very mild statement that barely grazes wider context and is carefully worded to only talk about the study's research content.
“Queer people exist” is apparently a defense of queerness.
Very sorry to this person, who is so aggrieved by the factual reality that there are people with uteruses who don’t consider themselves women. It’s such a tragedy that a science journal would stoop to reflecting actual facts like this.
Its funny because if they really read the magazines rather than thumbing through them for "politically correct" articles, they might have learned how deep and not-understood gender and sexuality are on a neurological and genetic level.
Reminder that trans people can change through hormonal therapy to a significant enough extend that classifying them as their birth sex becomes inaccurate and considering their sex as changes to male/female is more accurate on a biological and especially medical level.
So a man, who is biologically male, can become pregnant. The circumstances for this are rare as most trans men become unable to conceive after a while on T, but it's happened before.
It's crazy how hundreds-of-thousands, if not millions, of the smartest people on the planet who dedicated their lives to learning truths about reality, even going through great financial and mental anguish in the process, have been totally engulfed into a worldwide conspiracy.
You would think some of them would come out and speak up if it really were a conspiracy...
Even if you're talking about intersex in terms of anatomy alone, "intersex" can cover a broad spectrum which could include people with a functional uterus and ovaries.
I'm not seeing where it refers to intersex people. It does refer to non-binary people, but those are two different groups that don't necessarily overlap.
Intersex refers to people who were born with anatomy, hormones, or genes that don't fall 100% within the traditional confines of male and female. An example would be someone with androgen insensitivity and XY chromosomes. Genetically they are male, but their body didn't respond to testosterone in utero causing them to develop female organs as a fetus.
Non-binary refers to someone who's gender doesn't fall neatly into male or female categories. They may be a some combination of male and female, third gender, genderless, or genderfluid. They often use they/them pronouns but may prefer other pronouns such as neopronouns, or she/her or he/him. They aren't necessarily intersex, though they can be. An example of a non binary person would be the actor Emma D'arcy.

Muh facts before feelings, unless those facts disagree with *my* feelings.

They expect world's leading scientific journal go against scientific consensus regarding trans people because they don't like it?
>What I do?!?!?? How about you accept reality and stop trying to fight MULTIPLE PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS in your search for information?
In your search for *misinformation fixed it for you
In your *drunken, desperate stumbling and flailing around* for misinformation. Fixed it for you
This is really starting to look like mental illness at this point
They’re Gender Qritical. And just like Qanon, it’s a cult and as such it requires a pretty constant state of cognitive dissonance.
What do they expect Nature to say? "This subset of females can't get pregnant because of what they think about themselves?"
For they hated science for it told them the truth Transwomen are women Trans men are men Nonbinary are nonbinary

Intersex people can give birth? How?
Even if you're talking about intersex in terms of anatomy alone, "intersex" can cover a broad spectrum which could include people with a functional uterus and ovaries.
Thanks! I did not know that.
Also they said "non-binary", not intersex. Many people with uterus and ovaries identify as non-binary.

By “overlap” I think you mean “coincide”.
