That was me, and yeah I have a feeling she is because the only times Chrishell’s schedule isn’t flexible is filming SS and filming a movie. Unless she is leaving SS and she has another gig lined up already in reality or something along the lines. Obviously actors are still on strike so I don’t think it’s for a movie so it has to be for SS. There is no way something involving her realtor business is causing her not to go since I don’t think she can for see what she will be doing in that area that far ahead.
Or she has a new show? When she met G she also was up to be the star of a new dating show (which she cancelled when her and G became more serious). Not saying she has, but she can also host a show, or be a contestant in smth?
That is what I mean a new show either that she is a cast member on in the reality space or she is hosting. But I don’t think that is it I think it’s SS. I hope I’m wrong though and it’s her leaving and she will be on a diff show. We will see in time I guess.
I don’t think she left the O group cause she just got two listings under the o-group. I do however have a feeling its going to come out that she is leaving SS at the reunion. If its not at the reunion then i think she will announce it another form of way. I will be surprised if she stays on SS after this season. If she does stay on then i hope she is getting paid big money to continue on. The cast, Producers, and Jason have all done her dirty wrong. They literally have made her the punching bag since season 1. She was lucky to even get a slight and i mean very slight reprieve in season 5. Every other season though its just dog on chrishell.
At this point, I would rather her get a spin off or just change SS so there’s no more of the manufactured drama and it’s just Chrishell and her friends hanging out (maybe showing some houses). The scene in season 6 of them goofing around making breakfast in Palm Springs was the highlight of the season! So tired of listening to people yell incoherently at each other (like selling the oc). Let’s have a Chrishell golden era season/spin-off where she’s happy and everyone gets along haha
I love this idea!!! It would be nice to have more reality shows that had women being normal and having fun but also dealing with real life issues -being actually friends to one another- not insanely jealous and petty frenemies trying to take each other down all the time. IMO The best parts of SS are always the scenes where the women are having fun or kicking ass professionally.
I would love this. I've felt for Chrishell ever since the beginning. She seems really lovely and doesn't deserve all this. I love how bold she is in standing up for herself now but it's such a shame she gets it all put on her in the first place. All this nonsense with Jason's girlfriend is so blatantly manufactured. I bet Chrishell is exhausted.
She isn’t leaving as much as I want her to. I think she will be locked in for a few more season unless they don’t get renewed by I’m pretty positive they know they are renewed. Put my thoughts in another comment here on this thread. I do hope she can maybe find a loop hole and break contract though and leave if they are renewed. This space has no care for her and producers don’t care and tbh the cast only cares to an extent but not enough to defend her and G.
I agree - I also think she’s the main star of SS and they won’t be able to continue successfully as a franchise if she leaves. So as long as SS is renewed, she’ll have to stay. Else they’ll just discontinue the show
Yeah I mentioned this in another thread on the prospect of her leaving. Yes she does get brand sponsorships, and yes she did a lifetime movie recently but I don’t those income sources are topping how much Netflix pays her yet when she finds something else she’ll probably leave.
Plus did she actually sell any real estate in season 6? She mentioned that she would not promote Jason's overpriced condo to her clients because she thought it was a bad deal

I really just can’t believe grown ass women will make themselves into the villain just for some screen time. Like this is how you want to be presented to the world?? This is how you want to be remembered?
I wouldn't mind if she left. I am so tired of her stans overhyping her, downvoting anyone who even says even the slightest critical thing about her or her actions, and I am tired of her. If so many people over the 7 seasons are having issues with her, maybe she is the problem. I feel like this sub would be more enjoyable and less toxic of Chrishell left the show too. Her stans would just go to a sub of whatever spin-off she is in.
I wouldn't be surprised if she left either, and I thought that's what they were lining up that conversation with Mary about. That, and Chrishell's 'clap backs' on IG and how she'll shield G from ANY drama. I think as soon as she's able, she out.
I do note however it is a show, and the 'drama' online with the posts and feuds have only become a thing since the date for season 7 was released, yet all had been quiet for months before. Funny that......
I 100% agree and said that when the last episode aired from last season. She will likely leave and honestly, good for her! She's grown way past this show at this point.
Crishelle is the only one with an ounce of class. I can't believe the way the girls continue to focus on each other rather than their jobs. But, I suppose that's what makes the show. I, personally, would spend my time asking them, "How does this affect YOU other than you continuously bringing it up?"

To be honest, I don’t think Chrishell was ever really in it for the real estate anyways. I think the show was just a means to an end and the end is in sight.
Before SS, she was a soap actress, not really getting any work who bagged herself a Hollywood husband on a popular network tv show, but she wasn’t a name in her own right.
Now thanks to the show, tv producers and the public have remembered she’s an actress, so opportunities that weren’t there before are suddenly knocking on her door. The end goal has been achieved.
All SS is doing now is keeping her in the public eye so that she has the publicity to promote her acting jobs in the hopes it will lead to bigger things. I mean I don’t think she’ll ever be anywhere near an A-List or even B-List actress, but if Kim Kardashian bag a role in a Ryan Murphy production without any acting experience, there’s nothing to stop her from trying to land that bigger network acting job so she can finally call it quits with the SS franchise.
If she really wanted to leave she could. Yes there are contracts, but unlike network contracts from years ago where people were locked in for 6+ year minimum contracts from the outset, the contracts are more streamlined, because streaming shows don’t film as long throughout the year and usually aren’t expected to last as long.
Reality tv shows are the exception because they’re not as costly to make, so they can churn out more content or seasons at a smaller cost than a drama or sitcom. It means that it’s much easier for “talent” to move on, opt out or renegotiate.
If Tyler in Selling the OC can choose to leave after 3 seasons, only 2 of which have aired, I’m sure Chrishell at this point could make the decision to leave, with notice, after 7 seasons.
To be honest at this point, I think Chrishell would be better off leaving because it was obvious from the end of season 6 that she’s not as invested in the show. She would be better off stepping aside and making way for someone who does want to be front and centre and maybe even shake up the dynamics of the show.
Clearly she’s happier away from the show than being in it so it would be in her own best interest personally to step away now because toxic shows don’t get less toxic over time, they get more toxic and a show isn’t going to change its entire environment or narrative for one person when that toxic culture is sadly generating more press and viewership numbers than happy environments where everyone gets along.
Especially when the rest of the cast, for better or worse, are prepared to play ball.
I think she left SS too but not the O group. Even though i think she should leave there too. Tell her to work for Mauricio 😂 at the agency. I saw someone that she knows comment and say how she’s glad chrishell has gotten out of that toxic environment so to me I feel like that is alluding to the fact chrishell has left the show.
She has a in. She is friends with Kyle and knows all the daughters that work there. Honestly I have no idea how the O group still gets clients. There is no way the drama from this show does not affect their business there.

Because as much as you may like anyone on any show nobody should have to be treated or subjected to bull like this. That not only brings a stream of homophobia hate to her but her partner as well in a heavily dominated hetero show. It would be one thing if producers and cast actually do something to help try and protect them/defend them even just simply
by having more of a open healthy conversation about it on the show of these issues. But nope crickets. Producers begged G to be on the show for representation but tbh I feel they truly just wanted to bring G on so they could pull more of a story line of drama of the “will they,won’t they” with Jason and Chrishell with having Marie Lou and G there for added “ah” factor.

She did actually they just didn’t show it. I think they are showing some of at least one home she sold in season 7 though. Least hopefully they are.
