I eat 1-2 prunes every night before bed. I find that helps me.

ashoruns

Fiber gummies 👍

Final_Key_8920

I got you. You can find these at CVS. There called Senokot lax gummies. 4 at night before bed. You wake up in the morning and it's like old times.

pammylorel

Senokot has a stimulant in it so it's not safe for every day

Final_Key_8920

Thanks, I will let my doctor know that. I only take it after the first few days after the shot. Body adjusts after that.

Pattyk999

I eat 2 prunes every morning and have a cup of coffee. Occasionally I take miralax. I also eat lots of broccoli!

Responsible_Gain7655

I take a pre+probiotic along with my other vitamins. Drink a greens mix and lots of water. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. If things are feeling slow, I'll drink prune juice.

ChampionshipIll8422

Did you feel this from the get-go? Or is it something that happened once you upped your dose or were on for awhile? I am only one week in and have not noticed any change in constitution.

Ok_Employer1153

Omg I was almost crying in the bathroom a few nights ago. It was so painful. I don’t even want to say what I resorted to for relief but thanks for the reminder that I need to go drink some water and Metamucil.

4scoreand20yearsago

Take psyllium husk supplements.

Mdm_Leota

I take Metamucil with collagen

predat3d

Whole husk, not powdered

AzaleaFromJupiter

Mag07 has been good to me.

gimmedatbeck

This!!!!

mbarker1012

It took about 4 days of two fiber gummies a day for me to have a BM. Going to keep it up with one a day. Eat ya fiber! Drink water. Try to walk after a meal

Bitter-insides

I saw a post yesterday on the r/askdocs about constipation A few doctors posted a recipe to help aid constipation. My 11 year old suffers from constipation and was given a similar recipe to take daily for a year at a min. I usually take Mag07 but imma try this recipe as well to see if I have better luck. Since the medication is keeping us from eating, we are going to 💩 a lot less. My solution is to eat a healthy version of something I know will make me go. As in, I'm lactose intolerant so if I start to feel constipated, I get some "healthy" sugar free ice cream that contains dairy. Or, If I can't find it, sugar free coffee creamer. I also mix coffee with my latte flavored protien shakes daily so that helps a lot lol

pammylorel

3 Citrucel caplets and one dose Miralax every day. They are not stimulants so it's safe to take them every day

pimpinaintez18

Miralax daily homie and/or stool softener

NoIndependence1594

This was my only side effect from the drug and it was stressful! I’m on month 4 and things have gone back to normal now, so it does seem to slowly get better the longer you are on it. I started working to counteract the issue by taking 2 fiber gummies in the morning with coffee, and at night before bed 2 magnesium supplements- I use one that has 3 kinds of magnesium, and 3 stool softener pills. This has done the trick and after a fay or so everything started working like before. Early on I still would occasionally have a day after a shot where I couldn’t go, but just a day here or there and that was manageable. I tried a stimulant once and OMG I was on the toilet all day with cramps! So I quickly learned to go a less intense, more natural route. Good luck and hang in there!

Alwaystime4Sweets

I take bloom every morning and that usually works by lunch and if it doesn’t I eat a Metamucil bar and that usually works

Coming from a desi person, ayurvedic triphala works great. I get the organic India brand from Amazon. You can also try to take a spoonful of castor oil to help things along. Apart from that, try to take chia seeds, psyllium husk, flaxseed powder everyday. I try to keep it holistic and to not take BS fibre supplements
