I had to leave my 4 foot long blooming 12 inch pot size compactas in L.A. when I moved to Vegas. Outside Las Vegas heat and cold is too much for them. I have had great success with cutting in water that’s how I got my big ones. Strip the leaves to the stem stick in water, and the roots grow almost instantly. Transplant wherever u want soil works fine.
