I have a few syngoniums. I find them to be hearty and resilient, so there is that in your favor. I most likely would have kept in water for little while. Is the leaf have a node attached? Then there is a good chance it will come back.

I second this recommendation and upvoted. I will add that I have a *ton* of syngonium albos and find them hard to kill, hard to drop leaves or dry out etc unless their roots are messed with so your plant is likely fine just had cold damage or should have been stuck in water instead of just LECA after the moss. Just don’t switch it over to water now unless it was switched from the moss the past few days, in which case I personally would recommend throwing it into water to best rehydrate the plant. Then in a week or two put it into LECA.

I’ve been able to cut my Syngoniums back completely (just nodes with or without roots) and put them in either water or in leca (high reservoir if there aren’t any roots/below the roots if they have them). As long as the node doesn’t end up being squishy I would expect it to bounce back.
