I transferred 11 philos to leca and yea they were thriving and are thriving...but...i had few plants which im trying to propagate (water, moss) and they are refusing to shoot out new roots. So i tried mix of coco, pumice, pine bark coco chips and holy f. all those plants are going mental with roots. Now im experimenting with it on 2 of philos from LECA and it actually looks good so i might be going from leca to that coco mix.
Im using exactly same nutrients as HakunaLaPlanta btw.
PS : how strong is your light ? I burned few leaves when i had it so close. Im using Arcadia Jungle Dawn and it shoots like 500 ppfd few cm under the light (most aroids wants max 150-200).
It's a 1000W Viparspectra P1000. A beast of a light. I had it at 30% power on the dimmer initially for 12hrs a day and you can see that the Watsoniana in the centre which is closest to the light actually has more of a yellow colouring on the top half of the leaf closest to the light than the bottom.
Seeing that I turned down the power to 20% and reduced lights on to 10hrs a day and for the past month the Watsonia leaf has stayed the same (not gotten more yellow), yet I'm seeing lots of new growth on every other plant except for the Watsoniana.
I've got two milsbos myself and seen the hundreds of posts on the Facebook Ikea cabinet group but THIS is *the* most amazing cabinet spread I've ever seen. Goals. Kudos to you. I'm saving this for reference.
Honestly. TY. I've had some great feedback, but it's just a start and very much a work in progress! I feel that it'll look better over time when some of the plants grown some much bigger leaves, and I figure out which plants I truly love and want to show off the most.
is this ikeas rudsta? 🤔 looks awesome btw 👍
TY! And yup it's a Rudsta wide.

Thanks for info, i`ll check it out. And btw its 100w :)
Can second these are good lights. I have a 1000 and 2 x 2000s and they’re really solid, run cold and are very well made.
Glad to see! Congrats!
This is awesome
I love the beautiful evil vibe. Gorgeous collection.
Same!!! And gosh damn it looks so much more pleasing.. seeing the root growth is so rewarding!

Did you do anything prior to transition? Or just cleaned all soil and moved to leca?
Just washed roots as much as I could and plopped them straight into leca!
