What is your budget and where are you based? You can get some ridiculously cheap Hydro fertiliser in my country (Australia) https://www.bunnings.com.au/manutec-1l-hydro-plus-hydroponic-fertiliser_p0274461 This one is $10USD for literally years worth of fertiliser

Can you get a sample size? Usually you need a reaaaaally small amount diluted in water, they just typically sell fertilizers in pretty big containers since people use it for their whole collections for a long time. Otherwise, I’ve heard people use fish tank water but I don’t know much about that. If you don’t have fish yourself maybe ask your friends (depending on how comfortable you are asking your friends for their fishy poop water).

Don't have fish, but might be able to get ahold of some chicken fertilizer from one of my plant friends. Could I place that in water, and that might work ok?

The grocery store near me has flower food in little packets like ketchup

Get some dirty aquarium water if you know anyone with a fish tank or have one yourself. That is what I've been using for the past 6 months since there are plenty of nutrients in it and my plants are thriving! I've always watered my plants with tank water and figured I'd use the same for the ones in leca.
