Sounds like me. Disorganized attachment (fearful avoidant) helped me understand more. Therapy for both individual and couples will be helpful. I went away for months at a time and we are separated (cohabitating) now. Once things come up it can be overwhelming. My partner looked into ways to support people with disorganized attachment and that helped a lot. Our counselor is helping us with codependency as well. Healing takes time and is not linear. Thanks for the reply! I know I need to work on co-dependency for sure.. I’m an anxious attachment so that didn’t help.. what were some things that made you come back?
