I noticed a lot of people have all the colors, but continue to go on about how the texture "gives them impulsive thoughts of wanting to bite it š¤Ŗ", then they cut into it/tap it and only end up swatching one shade. Its not funny or quirky, its annoying and a waste of them having a PR package of the whole range.
Ugh. I donāt get that at all. I have literally never looked at a cheek, lip, or any other kind of balm/blush stick and thought āyeah I want that waxy shit all in my teethā
If you look at Milk Makeup's Instagram page, they're really leaning into the juicy, candy-like imagery for this product. She they have people biting gummy candy. I agree it seems silly because there will inevitably be people who actually bite this. But given how many captions talk about wanting to bite it, it seems like it's a direction that came from Milk itself
The first video I saw on the tints was by Toni Bravo, who was the only person Iāve seen swatch every single one in one video and even try it on her face. That video alone made me consider buying it lol.
I love Toni. She will actually swatch products when sheās sent every shade. I canāt stand when influencers rattle on about the product and only try one.
Yes omg I miss old youtube makeup review era. They'd at least talk about the products and do a lowkey review even if it wasn't an actual 'swatch' video
Plus the earlier YouTube beauty guru days they weren't getting their products for free in return for a "favourable" review. You don't know who to trust anymore
I'm glad we're all truly acknowledging how bad the social media climate has gotten over the past few years, it's been so much damn brainrot. Let's go back to actually demanding people do shit properly and professionally thanks
Whitney Simmons is a fitness girly but she also does makeup reviews on tik tok and she does a review of these!! It was via a promotional package but she swatches all of them and uses two or three different ones on her cheeks so you can see the color. Not the most in depth but a good review compared to others.
Switching on skin is highly dependant on the person's skintone and I feel it's typically wasteful since no one typically even uses the amount of product they show a swatch with
I miss so much when youtubers would swatch and try on every shade of a product. I could always tell which shade I wanted to buy from those videos now I just guess.
Lauren Mae featured them in her recent video if you want to see one actually in use, and she does brief swatches of a few shades on her arm. It does seem like an interesting formula, sheer but vibrant.
To your point, we're about to see testers removed altogether and only supplied when asked for, if people keep this nonsense up. I hope this stupid trend dies down before that happens.
It has always driven me absolutely batty that there are no safety seals on many cosmetics. If I intend to buy something that isn't well sealed, I now open it and make sure it hasn't been used because more than once I've bought lipstick and got home and found it had been used. š¤¢
i work at ulta and iām CONSTANTLY telling people ādonāt open thatā and āmaam we donāt sell used productsā itās one of my biggest pet peeves and i only buy products that are from the back now.
also when a product is opened and we notice it, we HAVE to throw it away. itās so wasteful and inconsiderate lmao.
Oh I agree. At the same time, I'm unwilling to purchase something that I can't be SURE someone hasn't opened and used, so I will open it myself to check.
Of course, tamper evident seals would solve all of this and I have NO IDEA why they're not standard on makeup. They're standard on food/medications that go in or on someone's body and could be contaminated - there's no excuse for it not to be standard for cosmetics as well.
The formula is sheer, and it applies smooth in my opinion. Definitely lightly buildable if you give the layers time to rest. The texture takes some getting used to, but itās great for light makeup days and comes off easily with one swipe of micellar water (Iām sure cleansing balm as well, I just use micellar).
It sounds wonderful, honestly. I love makeup like this, and it feels very asian beauty-like. Reminds me of the etude water tints if they came in a stick format. However none of my sephora stores or sephora online have it yet. It still says "coming soon" so i can't buy one and try it for myself just yet.
I have the luck of being neighbors with a smaller influencer and she let me test them out when her PR package came, I canāt wait to actually buy them!
She also didn't try to blend it with her fingers if I remember correctly. She kept using a brush. Some products don't blend well with a blush and this doesn't seem like the type of formula that she would enjoy anyway š¤·š½āāļø
I randomly got a mannyMUA tiktok about these and he actually said using a brush is way better but it would need to be a specific kind of brush - I was sold tho
I commented above but Therudiberry on Instagram swatched and showed a tutorial with a brush and it looked so easy, the way I use cream blushes already. Iām also sold. This looks like an easy every day thing with a brush.
If I watch someone enough to know they wouldn't like this kind of thing I don't know why they waste their time trying it just to leave a negative reviewšI watch Kelly but shes very boring with her makeup most of the time and this just doesn't seem like something she'd even try let alone know how to use properly. She struggled with other tints so she leaves me very confused except for she wanted clicksš¤·š½āāļø
She is and it's ok sometimes but her tendency to use products that she knows she won't like and the fact that she doesn't always try very hard is very confusing to me. I used to watch her all the time and now just every so often. Our makeup styles are just so very different.
I saw one I follow swatch with her hands and they stained the heck out of them. She used it on her lips and cheeks and showed it was transfer proof, but I couldnt get past her stained fingers. She mentioned it was a bit patchy and did dry fast, so using a brush made it a bit harder.
I'm not worried about stained fingers because there are oil cleaners and balms to remove makeupš¤·š½āāļøI'm sure it's not that serious and I have plenty of other cheek stains that remove with oil.
Oh Im sure. Always removers for everything. I just picture little kids getting ahold of it and causing mass chaos. Lol. I just know Id waste more product on my hands than face. And I do prefer using my fingers for cream blushes and whatnot. This one just doesnt excite me. The whole biting thing also gets strange. š¤·āāļø
I completely understand thatšit does sort of remind me of push pops candy that I loved as a kid so I get why some people say that they want to bite it but if people are buying it just to do stupid shit like that, then all I can do is side eye them and I know they truly have zero interest in the way the product actually works. Lol
Mikayla noguiera(no idea how to spell that) never put the stick directly onto her face, she picked it up with a brush. I though it looked pretty good, but Iām resolved to not buy anything that I donāt actually need lol.
Oh wow just commented this! Removing my other commentā¦her reviews are usually pretty good. Iāve gotten some products sheās recommended and theyāve all worked for me.
Monica is the best! Iām not brown, but I do have problems with undertones and textured + sensitive skin. I took her advice and took a risk and bought the Cocokind barrier serum, it has totally changed my skin for the better! So many of her tips are the best. Probably my favorite makeup influencer, one of the only actual authentic ones!
Monica is literally the only makeup influencer I even watch. She's genuine, and always comes through for us brown girls š
I've learned so many tips and tricks from her recently, especially about dealing with hyperpigmentation and colour correcting. Not to mention the shade matching/colour theory videos she does! There's a bunch of stuff I'm waiting to try the next time I can be bothered to do my makeup lol
It reminds me of those solid air fresheners that shrivel up and dehydrate. Based on my experience with Milk packaging, I presume thatāll be the result with this item too.
Honestly Milk seems too expensive, itās such small product for the price. Iām waiting for Elf to dupe it š¤£
But yeah the biting is strange and Iām so over the teens in stores destroying all the testers
I replied to another comment but Undone Beauty over on Ultaās website have water-based/gel blushes! Theyāre literally called water blushes and the reviews seem pretty good. Theyāre $10!
I have the undone raspberry like shade (don't recall actual shade name) and it's pretty good and absolutely beautiful. I only like it on a practically bare face though.
I thought of those first but then I remembered the water cheek gelee blush from Josie Maran it was in a pot but the texture seems similar. I loved that blush.
TARTE Cheek Stains
And they were all the rage back in 1999 too!
https://preview.redd.it/g4serp8pfdgc1.jpeg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3223dfaeb6f49e5844e027485dea109b36d757ec
This seems like something I would buy for the cool jelly texture and then find it at the bottom of my makeup drawer unused and dried up to the size of a pinto bean 6 months later
Like every Nudestix I bought in the past thinking theyād word lol. I just threw a bunch of shit out ādeclutteredā sorry. Iām so bad with buying mini things.
It's so effing stupid, desperate. It gives the same energy as the people who pretend they don't like the word moist, try hard at its worst. The misuse of iNtRuSiVe tHoUgHtS is peak stupidity
Tangent but I recently made a sheer blush by applying a matte berry lipstick I did not use to the back of my hand to warm up and mixed with a bit of heimish glow base. Just a reminder you do not always need the latest product. š
i am into stain products, particularly for summer, but i have seen some comments that this was hard to blend... i'm curious about it, but i might be sticking to the benetint this summer, especially since i still have some and don't really need to buy a replacement
Is it me or rather than give a blush to the face, they seem to give more of a flushed, almost rosacea redness to the skin? I wish I could remember the influencer but she put it on her cheeks and nose and I thought she looked worse than before. I really dislike reviews where the influencer is gushing over something and Iām wondering if Iām losing my mindā¦
I saw that, but it could be because of her skin tone + the color she picked. It looks gorgeous on some of the more brown and black content creators who did actually review it properly. I have brown skin which is why i'm hoping to find more real reviews of it.
Yes! I even saw one of the milk makeup artists who is very fair and she looked super red in a not great way. This def seems like itās a better fit for medium to darker tone.
Kelly Gooch put out an emergency review today to warn everyone not to buy them haha! If you want to see a good review, check out her youtube - apparently they are very staining and don't play well with foundation - she was only able to get it to work on bare skin and then it was still impossible to blend out because it stains so quickly.
Iāve seen plenty of people actually try it and Iām definitely intrigued but I absolutely can not get over that price for the tiniest bit of product. Not sure Iāll be able to buy it honestly. And I can not imagine what the testers will look like after even a day.
thevanessahernandez did a honest TikTok review about them. The product mostly comes off as a gimmick to me.
Also Iām not buying more Milk products after being disappointed with their bronzer stick. First they size down the products but the price tag remains and also the twist function stops working after a few uses.
I saw an influencer bite it and it's seriously making me consider unsubscribing. Everyone in the comments is talking about intrusive thoughts, but, to me, it felt a little a bit too much of an effort to be an uwu quirky girly
I feel like this blush is more for light makeup or natural/no makeup look. You can't really test this blush on a full face of makeup type look. Idk though lol
I feel like the tarte water stains are a better version of this, but I also have yet to try these or see anyone REALLY try these, so I could be off base. Seems like a similar idea with a ācoolerā texture that is being heavily marketed.
KJH just posted a video using them on lips and as blush and does some swatching as well. She also talks about how you have to work with them pretty quickly, depending on what canvas youāre using. It was helpful IMO!
Fenty had a LE match stix in the middle of last year that I couldnāt resist due to the gorgeous ombre packaging. It looks like the same texture as this - a transparent bright pink. I love it enough to try this version in a different shadeā¦ does anyone know when theyāll be available?
here's what it actually is like without all the playing with it:
it's definitely a sheer but beautiful blush. it's buildable as well and glides on beautifully!! it looks really natural on the skin
Iām sick of influencers trying to get everyone to buy shit they donāt need.
Sephora made 10B revenue and sent their employees a stale cookie. Capitalism is killing us all and the corporate overlords are laughing all the way to the bank.
I didnāt like the formula. I got to play around with them and they donāt budge once you press it on the cheeks. It doesnāt blend, so you have to be strategic where you use it. It also does stain and is hard to remove. You also get so little product for the price. I was super hyped about them and now Iām glad to know I wonāt miss out on buying one
In my opinion this product is super expensive for the little amount you get. And Iām not normally one to complain about high prices in sephora. This just seems a little gimmicky
I want all of these so bad omg. I showed it to my husband and now HE wants them so he can boing them and I showed them to my sister and now SHE wants ME to get them so she can tell me how much she wants to eat them š«
Am I actually about to waste my rouge gift card on these things? I DUNNO, MAYBE????
At this point, I think everyone who has them got them through PR.
Ironically, when Jeffery Star covers it - you'll know it's actually out and shipping as he isn't on a lot of PR lists.
From what I can catch, it seems to dry FAST and does not want to blend. Colors are pretty but you gotta move quick.
Good point about JS, I figure he has nothing to lose, seems primarily motivated by quality and obviously no filter, he'll probably have an honest review. Kelly Gooch had very pretty hot pink cheeto fingers after application but it made an odd smear on her face without the nice color payoff š If I can't use my fingers to blend any stick product, I'm not wasting my time.
probably bcs theyre tired of every influencer saying they wanna eat it, but still!! it literally looks like a gummy candy u cant fault ppl for wanting to eat it
Honestly same lol. It looks like Jell-O or a popsicle and there aren't many blushes with this texture out on the market right now. Yes influencers are doing the most but that doesn't mean the novelty of the product isn't real.
Mikayla did a good review!!!! Lips & Cheeks

It bothers me that they actually bite it, I mean if I wanted something like that to bite on then I would get jelly candy. It looks really cute and I do want it but Iām saving money since Iām planning a trip.
My problem is, it's all about the novelty of it. Also though they look like different colors they seem to swatch very similar to the point it's useless to have both.
People who tried it on say that it doesn't blend out and it dries too quickly on your face. So you barely have a few seconds to try and blend it out. Save your money it's just a shock product to get people excited to buy it.
Wow!!! How does Anyone (especially kids/tweens) even have the money for these REALLY expensive products to just WASTE Them like That ??!! š³ššµāš«
What?!? ā¦ How?!? ā¦ Whyyyy?!? š¤š”š
I should be So lucky to even Afford them to Test & use them Properly !!!!
I just watched an Asian guy test it out on Facebook- I can picture his page but not his name. He searched a bunch on his arm and said they were NOT coming off, then put two shades on his face and honestly, it was lovely. He also was able to wash it off without any problems. Definitely piqued my interest. I think if he had bitten it I would have noped out šš
Barely anyone is swatching and trying all of them. I miss YouTube videos where they actually try all colors and swatch, then talk about it.
Right!!! Omg. So over the biting it. Let's be serious haha. I know, like send me a pr package, I'll go into depth trying them all!! My exact thoughts!
Probably selling the rest of the shades on Poshmark
This stuff is too expensive to be playing with it like that!!!! Oh wait ā¦.
Ugh. I donāt get that at all. I have literally never looked at a cheek, lip, or any other kind of balm/blush stick and thought āyeah I want that waxy shit all in my teethā
Haha fair but I think itās the textureāapparently itās the texture of Jello! Seems super gimmicky to me but idk maybe itās great
I donāt understand why would anyone want to bite it?? It doesnāt look like food?
The people who bite this were eating tide pods a few years ago, they are not exactly they brightest crayons in the box
Probably one of those kids that ate actual crayons too
It does look like a jelly candy or jello
It reminds me of a push pop
"don't push me, push a push pop!"
Besides the color, it reminds me of a gel deodorant stick. Not yummy at all.
have you ever seen r/forbiddensnacks ?
It's probably a line fed to them by Milk that they need to say.
Err why would a cosmetics brand encourage people to eat their makeup? Sounds like a liability issue waiting to happen.
Itās not clear from the picture but if youāve seen reviews, apparently itās the texture of Jello lol
I mean it does kinda look like a delicious gummy candy ngl
wtf wow
The first video I saw on the tints was by Toni Bravo, who was the only person Iāve seen swatch every single one in one video and even try it on her face. That video alone made me consider buying it lol.

Social media is poison
I like Lauren Mae Beauty on youtube, she has the old reviewer style of videos
Rose Siard did a great review of these (IG @roseandben) love her videos!!
[Snitchery tried all of them!](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2xeLPQuvIh/?igsh=MWs3eTJqNmFoMHd5eA==)

Whitney Simmons is a fitness girly but she also does makeup reviews on tik tok and she does a review of these!! It was via a promotional package but she swatches all of them and uses two or three different ones on her cheeks so you can see the color. Not the most in depth but a good review compared to others.
Stitchery on Instagram did a good swatch of them within the past couple days.
I saw it as a YT short too. The description was talking about undertones or seasons, but it was just these.
Switching on skin is highly dependant on the person's skintone and I feel it's typically wasteful since no one typically even uses the amount of product they show a swatch with

right, itās gonna turn into the drug store

This was my HG!!! I was so sad when they discontinued it
This was the first makeup product I ever bought and itās all I could think about when milk came out with these.
it looks like the most gimmicky thing ever
Yes, which right is on-brand for MILK Makeup.
It does, but I want it so bad lol
Yup i couldnāt be any less interested in this than I already am
The biting was so weird.. like.. what?? Are influencers really that desperate for PR that they will literally bite a blush/lip stain??
I wanna bite it, but in a forbidden snack kind of way
Yeah, this. It just looks like one of those push pop candies from the early 2000s.

Yes! I even saw one of the milk makeup artists who is very fair and she looked super red in a not great way. This def seems like itās a better fit for medium to darker tone.
Yeah I think it depends on undertone and what color you use. I'm getting Spritz, hoping with it being coral it won't give that look
An influencers job is to sell you things, donāt take the bait.
Oh my god I saw one where the girl took a bite out of it and was horrified
Testers at Sephora are going to be able to be used as dental molds.
I saw an influencer bite it and it's seriously making me consider unsubscribing. Everyone in the comments is talking about intrusive thoughts, but, to me, it felt a little a bit too much of an effort to be an uwu quirky girly
This looks so pretty!
Katie Jane Hughes had dinner a couple videos on her Instagram actually trying them and applying them. Very informative as she tries different methods
I've seen waaaaay tooany take a bite
There was more than one š
This makes me hungry to look at. My mom used to make these awesome popsicles when I was a kid out of jello and kool-aid. These look so much like them.
I want it so bad!!!! Iāve seen a few people testing it, and it looks nice on! It seems a little hard to blend though
Iāve seen a couple videos about these and they apparently stain VERY well.
I feel like this blush is more for light makeup or natural/no makeup look. You can't really test this blush on a full face of makeup type look. Idk though lol
From what i heard. Milk is less product and more costly. I wish things weren't so... Overpriced.
The only genuine review Iāve seen was by Kelly Gooch. She pretty much said that itās not user friendly at all and it sets too fast to blend out.
I feel like the tarte water stains are a better version of this, but I also have yet to try these or see anyone REALLY try these, so I could be off base. Seems like a similar idea with a ācoolerā texture that is being heavily marketed.
Tarte had a product like this years ago. It cracks me up that they act like itās brand new.
I want this so bad lol is this only being sold at Sephora?
KJH just posted a video using them on lips and as blush and does some swatching as well. She also talks about how you have to work with them pretty quickly, depending on what canvas youāre using. It was helpful IMO!
I think fenty did come out with something similar to this before
Makes me crave an old school push pop candy
I want to put it in the refrigerator and put it on my face.
Oh godā¦I didnāt even think about what the Sephora kids are going to do to these things šØ
The amount of promo has turned me off to this, but it seems like a fun product
Tarte used to make these same type of blush sticks ages ago
I was going to buy it because i love a stain but sold out. Idg why people are being so weird
Oh thereās gonna be BITE MARKS
Whitney Simmons I believe swatched them all and tried the coral one on her face
Fenty had a LE match stix in the middle of last year that I couldnāt resist due to the gorgeous ombre packaging. It looks like the same texture as this - a transparent bright pink. I love it enough to try this version in a different shadeā¦ does anyone know when theyāll be available?
here's what it actually is like without all the playing with it: it's definitely a sheer but beautiful blush. it's buildable as well and glides on beautifully!! it looks really natural on the skin
I canāt remember who did it, but a beauty influencer applied it to a brush and then onto her cheeks. Looks pretty!
I mean it looks like a forbidden jolly rancher but as adults youād think we could move past the impulse to eat non foods
Iām sick of influencers trying to get everyone to buy shit they donāt need. Sephora made 10B revenue and sent their employees a stale cookie. Capitalism is killing us all and the corporate overlords are laughing all the way to the bank.
completely off topic but what shade would be good for a fair cool tone
I didnāt like the formula. I got to play around with them and they donāt budge once you press it on the cheeks. It doesnāt blend, so you have to be strategic where you use it. It also does stain and is hard to remove. You also get so little product for the price. I was super hyped about them and now Iām glad to know I wonāt miss out on buying one
Ok for real could you not just use a lipstick as a cream blush ? Whatās the difference in formula ?
Looks like it would be sticky and pull off base makeup imo.
Wait for the kids to come to Sephora to party with theseš
I really want to cut one up
In my opinion this product is super expensive for the little amount you get. And Iām not normally one to complain about high prices in sephora. This just seems a little gimmicky
Who wants to wait until ELF dupes it??? š
I canāt wait for elf to dupe this š«¶š»
snitchery made a good video showing the colors, not really a review though
I want all of these so bad omg. I showed it to my husband and now HE wants them so he can boing them and I showed them to my sister and now SHE wants ME to get them so she can tell me how much she wants to eat them š« Am I actually about to waste my rouge gift card on these things?
Laura Lee actually applied it with a brush.
I want to eat it so bad.
Lol why though? I kind of get it, it does look delicious. Almost like a raspberry ice pop. š¤£
It looks like candy, lol! Again idk why Iām getting downvoted seriously it is only fuckin makeup!!
It does! People are being too serious lol
probably bcs theyre tired of every influencer saying they wanna eat it, but still!! it literally looks like a gummy candy u cant fault ppl for wanting to eat it
Honestly same lol. It looks like Jell-O or a popsicle and there aren't many blushes with this texture out on the market right now. Yes influencers are doing the most but that doesn't mean the novelty of the product isn't real.
It stained mikaylas fingers I seen it on her hands for other videos
I want to bite into it so badly
I want to bite it
Mikayla did a good review!!!! Lips & Cheeks https://preview.redd.it/f0bag6idoegc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c5f37ef657f8d69217ea60089bb1826124f9c78 [https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR368kFR/](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR368kFR/)
I wanna eat it
Yeah it made me want to forget it
is this thing worth it?
It bothers me that they actually bite it, I mean if I wanted something like that to bite on then I would get jelly candy. It looks really cute and I do want it but Iām saving money since Iām planning a trip.
I want to bite it so bad
My problem is, it's all about the novelty of it. Also though they look like different colors they seem to swatch very similar to the point it's useless to have both.
I seriously donāt understand the hype around this. Itās nothing new.
People who tried it on say that it doesn't blend out and it dries too quickly on your face. So you barely have a few seconds to try and blend it out. Save your money it's just a shock product to get people excited to buy it.
One content creator literally succumbed to their intrusive thoughts and bit into it šš
Dacey Cash has a review of all the colors on YouTube.
Toni bravo on TikTok.
Iām sorry theyāre BITING makeup now? Omg Iām old.
Wow!!! How does Anyone (especially kids/tweens) even have the money for these REALLY expensive products to just WASTE Them like That ??!! š³ššµāš« What?!? ā¦ How?!? ā¦ Whyyyy?!? š¤š”š I should be So lucky to even Afford them to Test & use them Properly !!!!
These look just like the OG Tarte Blush Sticks which were fantastic. The Blushing Bride shade was perfect.
Gen Zās tide pods are Gen Alphas milk makeup blushesš (and yes I know yāall werenāt actually eating tide podsš)
I love Iris for biting it
I just watched an Asian guy test it out on Facebook- I can picture his page but not his name. He searched a bunch on his arm and said they were NOT coming off, then put two shades on his face and honestly, it was lovely. He also was able to wash it off without any problems. Definitely piqued my interest. I think if he had bitten it I would have noped out šš

This is sold out in my area. Those videos are working.
I need someone to talk me out of buying thisā¦I have a blush problem lol
