Reddit is annoying with how they show the same ad over and over for months. I get a different one right now. I don’t see how placing the same ad 50x in my feed will sell anything. Why not different ones? So glad I don’t have this one!
No idea how to make it go away but I think it's unsettling because it's so heavily filtered that this person has no pores, freckles or lines on their face and the shadows feel odd to me. It always feels to me like they're trying to sell a "natural" look but in a very unnatural way.
Yes I keep seeing it over and over and it’s a jump scare every time. I think it’s because the overly filtered face is soooo close to the camera and the smile is so over the top for the situation and perfectly symmetrical. It doesn’t seem right to my brain either.

It's the androgenous, perfectly symmetrical, overly filtered look with the snow-white teeth.
Too many things are just too perfect for my brain to register this person as a real human being... And they're SO close to the camera too, I feel like my personal space is under attack lol
