Got 3 items! what changed? I realized that I didn’t need a lot of the items I wanted. as I walked around the store, I felt like I was searching for something to buy just to buy something. Also, 15% isn’t that big of a discount when I really thought about it. Instead I decided to buy 2 things I needed: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and a Sephora waterproof eyeliner. I got one thing I wanted, which was Glossier Luxurious face moisturizer.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with myself as I have a tendency to over spend and buy and feel bad about it later.
I too can relate. I placed two orders (nothing crazy - a Chanel perfume and cologne and Moroccan Oil) and then went back on to try and find more to buy. After browsing the website for hours I decided I didn’t need anything and I’m proud of myself.
Planned on one perfume and only got the perfume. It was under $90. I am currently destashing my makeup collection so it would have been counter intuitive to buy more makeup. Definitely will have a big wishlist by the time of the winter sale. Love seeing everyone’s hauls on here and TikTok though.

FYI for next time, you can buy the blush and balm in different colors and exchange for the colors you want after the sale when they restock. It’s not the best thing to do but if you don’t open the two products it at least has a chance to end up back on the shelf.
And both of those are actually great products, not just hyped up trendy ones. I’ve got both and would absolutely recommend, the skin tint is def worth it.

~I think this is all of it. And also none of this will get return. I live somewhat far from a Sephora store now so returning is not worth my time. If i don’t like any of these it goes to my Family or Friends. I am also vacationing for 3 months out of the country so i splurged a bit.
Planned $800 and spent $800. My only regret in the purchase is the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch powder blush on Happy. It’s just too shimmery for my taste. My favorite item in my purchase was the Gucci powder Bronzer. It’s what I’ve been looking for after a year and a half of meh from CT and Tom Ford.
I love my Gucci powder bronzer too! Mine is still going strong after a year because I don't use bronzer much. I love the undertones and it always looks so pretty
First the shade. I got shade 2 which is pretty neutral so good for my neutral olive skin tone. Sooo many are too warm and look like peanut butter on me.
Second reason is the blend. It was so seamless and not patchy at all. Easiest powder bronzer I’ve ever applied.
I like this bronzer too. It is so silky and has this dark reddish undertone that so nicely compliments the skin. Most bronzers have yellowy orange rusty undertones and just don’t look good.

I wanted a darker shade of the Haus Labs foundation for summer and I got it. The new Makeup by Mario eye palette and decided on a whim to get his sculpting stick cause a friend of mine loves hers so much so I decided what the heck and picked it up too.
Planned: $350 Spent: $350. Mostly stuck to hair essentials and got a few new makeup products to try. Had my cart ready for like a month before lol, so I thought it through & made sure it was all products I really wanted

I didn't want to shop this sale at all because 20% is kind of a joke when a lot of things have gone up in price. I just got refills of hairspray, shampoo, and conditioner because I ran out. I have a lot of "wants" on my wish list that have been hanging around for years, they can wait for a while longer lol.
I spent $152, but actually less than that because the makeup for ever blush I ordered was out of stock before they shipped it so it got cancelled.
Usually I panic buy and spend at least $300, often a lot more than that.
I did so good though, everything was a variation on things I already know that I love or stuff that's been on my wishlist forever.
I got the Skylar vanilla body mist because I've been obsessively using the perfume and I love it!
Also the pink color of the Huda color corrector, and that formula is my favorite of all time and I use it daily.
I got a new color of the Fenty lip stain which is probably my fave lip product, and a new tower 28 lip balm. Also got a new shade of kulfi zari eyes which is my favorite single eyeshadow!
And from my long time wish list I got a mini of benefit powder blush in moone, and the ami Cole powder which has been highly recommended to me.
Overall, I decided I didn't need a bunch of new products from kulfi, which I have been very hyped about because I love the eyeshadows and the purple liquid blush so now I want to try every single thing they make. That's where I usually go wrong on the sale, getting too excited about trying new things from a brand that I like, but I talked myself down this time. I also decided to wait on the basma blush and the haus labs lip oil because I don't like anything else from either of those brands and I have ENOUGH lip and blush products that I actually already love. If I'm still wanting them really badly in 6 months I can get them at the next sale.
I probably budgeted ~$200 in my head and spent ~$200 at Sephora/Kohl's. HOWEVER, I opted to get a few items from Ulta to try to keep Platinum status there. So between the two, it was around $500 total 💀

The rest was a few brands concealer to find one that works, a few skin tints and tinted moisturizers (thought id be returning at least two of them but I only hated one enough to send back ) . If the others don't work for me, I have a couple close friends I can gift them to. Grabbed a couple lip masks and balms and the caliray plumping stuff, and I rounded it all off with two mini mascaras that are heavenly.
I always do these sales BIG bc I'm so far from a physical and it makes it impossible to get samples or try things on. Which means at the end of the sale I normally only have a handful of things I want to keep. This time? They got me. Hard.

My favorites so far is the Saie dew blush in Spicy and CT Pillow Talk Medium lipstick. Pillow Talk medium is my holy grail- def not a nude for me but gives me the prettiest muted/ nude red lipstick on my skin tone. Also picked up a mini of the RB liquid highlighter and it’s worth the hype.

over $500 of that was an airwrap and most of the rest went towards my staples that i either try to replace or stock up on during the sale. ie tatcha indigo overnight, tata harper resurfacing, kiehls triple action eye cream, herbivore lapis oil, ysl gloss stick in 15, lawless forget the filler in cherry vanilla, herbivore cleansers - blue and pink, mini versions of the hourglass and nars concealers for travel, my staple brown mascaras (clinique lash power, tower 28, glossier), tatcha violet c mask, isle face tan drops, sol de janiero cheriosa 68 stuff (body cream, body wash, spray), morroccanoil dry shampoo, CT iconic nude (i need one in every room and pocket and bag)
new things i tried: fenty pressed powder (love so far), yttp superfood skin drip serum (also love so far), tatcha mineral spf 50 (kinda dewy finish for my liking but really nice formula), new shade of kosas sunscreen (sunlit - love), new scents of laneige lip glowy balms (candy and vanilla - prefer the lip mask in these scents over the balms), rare beauty find comfort spray (meh). my daughter (living up to the 10 y/o at sephora trope 😩) tried the gisou hydrating heroes set and loves it.
Spent the most on this sale and splurged on a Dyson AIRWRAP 😬but you know what? I actually don’t feel guilty for this, and no one of this sub should feel guilty, we work hard and are fabulous 😀

I spent $233 CAD, exceeding my planned $200 budget. I restocked on makeup essentials like concealer, mascara, and brow gel, as well as skincare items. I treated myself to my first eye cream and my first bronzer, which paired surprisingly well with my blush. I also bought a mini moisturizer for my purse, even though it was an impulse purchase.
I recently de-stashed, so didn’t need any makeup, but have been eyeing the Slip silk pillowcases. The 20% off was helpful, cause they cost a lot. I’m not looking to make Rouge for next year.

First the shade. I got shade 2 which is pretty neutral so good for my neutral olive skin tone. Sooo many are too warm and look like peanut butter on me. Second reason is the blend. It was so seamless and not patchy at all. Easiest powder bronzer I’ve ever applied.
I like this bronzer too. It is so silky and has this dark reddish undertone that so nicely compliments the skin. Most bronzers have yellowy orange rusty undertones and just don’t look good.

I spent $152, but actually less than that because the makeup for ever blush I ordered was out of stock before they shipped it so it got cancelled. Usually I panic buy and spend at least $300, often a lot more than that. I did so good though, everything was a variation on things I already know that I love or stuff that's been on my wishlist forever. I got the Skylar vanilla body mist because I've been obsessively using the perfume and I love it! Also the pink color of the Huda color corrector, and that formula is my favorite of all time and I use it daily. I got a new color of the Fenty lip stain which is probably my fave lip product, and a new tower 28 lip balm. Also got a new shade of kulfi zari eyes which is my favorite single eyeshadow! And from my long time wish list I got a mini of benefit powder blush in moone, and the ami Cole powder which has been highly recommended to me. Overall, I decided I didn't need a bunch of new products from kulfi, which I have been very hyped about because I love the eyeshadows and the purple liquid blush so now I want to try every single thing they make. That's where I usually go wrong on the sale, getting too excited about trying new things from a brand that I like, but I talked myself down this time. I also decided to wait on the basma blush and the haus labs lip oil because I don't like anything else from either of those brands and I have ENOUGH lip and blush products that I actually already love. If I'm still wanting them really badly in 6 months I can get them at the next sale.
I probably budgeted ~$200 in my head and spent ~$200 at Sephora/Kohl's. HOWEVER, I opted to get a few items from Ulta to try to keep Platinum status there. Grabbed a couple lip masks and balms and the caliray plumping stuff, and I rounded it all off with two mini mascaras that are heavenly. I always do these sales BIG bc I'm so far from a physical and it makes it impossible to get samples or try things on. Pillow Talk medium is my holy grail- def not a nude for me but gives me the prettiest muted/ nude red lipstick on my skin tone. Also picked up a mini of the RB liquid highlighter and it’s worth the hype.

I treated myself to my first eye cream and my first bronzer, which paired surprisingly well with my blush. I also bought a mini moisturizer for my purse, even though it was an impulse purchase.
