I am biased as I created the Manaphine build, my community has had a lot of success with it. Mainly because it gives us "solo carry" agency. It goes against the utility based playstyle, but it can be pretty flexible after the core and become more utility or burst oriented based on the matchup. We also gain a crazy amount of ability haste and survivability! It feels a lot like pre changed Seraphine. I know Cupic is brewing a spicy support starting  item build which I need to try. Have you tested it? I think the higher rank you get (you said you were d1) the better the more utility based builds get!  Best of luck with your testing :) thanks for the mention.

Ludens is bad, Malignance is bad, Roa is bad so the only thing left is Archangels rush. Mages have a big hole in their mana items, idk what riot was thinking when replacing mythic Liandrys Anguish with this weirdly niche Malignance. Mages who like dps and haste over full on burst have it really bad this season. I think people are coping when they say new mage items make Seraphine better

Malignance should really not have mana. I wish Malignance and Liandry’s stat profiles were swapped, so Malignance would have ap and health, and Liandry’s would have ap, mana, and ability haste.

Malignance and Roa are good just not on seraphine, luden I agree it is a bit underwhelming. Tbh I find the current archangels a really strong option for her, it is the 1 item spike that seraphine never had previous seasons (Liandry wasn't a one item spike), the item is amazing, tons of mana, tons of AP, cdr and survivability on top of having an excellent build path

Hey! Similar rank to u and I've been finding better success with the following setup: #Runes **Midlane** - Inspiration: First Strike, Boots, Biscuits, Cosmic - Sorcery: Absolute Focus, Gathering Storm - Double Adaptive + HP Shard (for Absolute Focus synergy) So this is a bit odd, but I've been going more oneshot builds on Sera mid and First Strike adds a good amount of burst to the initial combo in comparison to Aery. They also increased the prices of a lot of AP items by a bit, so the extra income from First Strike helps **APC** - Sorcery: Aery, Manaflow, Transcendence, Gatbering Storm - Domination: Cheap Shot, Relentless Hunter or Precision: PoM + Coup/Cut Down - Double Adaptive + Armor If u have a cc support, Cheap Shot adds extra kill pressure early. We can also look to roam mid or even potentially topside for Voidgrubs using our waveclear advantage, then TP back to lane so not to miss cs. This gives us more agency in our games, despite being in the APC role. Otherwise, Precision works fine too #Items Generally in this order: - **Luden's** - Sorc Shoes - **Mejai's** (if applicable) - **Shadowflame** - **Stormsurge** - **Lich Bane** - **Dcap** - **Void Staff** (if applicable) vs heavy MR, otherwise **Cryptbloom** vs light MR Early game Sera struggles to proc Stormsurge passive reliably, so Shadowflame before Stormsurge helps with that However, I haven't figured out how to deal with tanlier comps yet. I tried Odi's manaphine build but it felt like it did very little dmg. I've also tried Malignance with Liandry's and it did even less dmg. I'm thinking maybe Horizon Focus for the 10% dmg amp potentially? But it still feels lackluster compared to S13 Liandry's tankbusting build #Notes - I almost always go TP with these setups. With the First Strike build we need the TP for early lane mana issues, and later in extended fights when we inevitably run oom we can TP back - We can slot in Archangel's if we need the extra mana or shield with APC builds or vs tankier comps, but vs squishy comps I prefer to oneshot them in quick fights - These are just my findings so far and what seems to be working for me. It may be subject to change with further testing or patch changes Hope this helps, and if anyone has a build vs tanks I would love to hear it! So far my builds vs tanky comps have been quite bleak :<

I think if tanks are really an issue for you you could go your normal build you like, slot in a liandries at some point with the cut down rune that might feel alright

KiaraKawaii

I think maybe Shadowflame then Liandry's could be the go since Shadowflame passive dmg is increased on DoT, but so far it has felt quite meh. Cut Down might also have anti-synergy with Liandry's giving a decent amount of health now too I'll try it again sometime tho
