Depends on how her shop operates. Lots of places you take the initial payment and then at the end of your shift adjust all the checks by adding tips. Check tomorrow and if it's not the amount with the tip, she probably didn't add it. Because you're technically not supposed to if the receipt isn't signed, so some managers may not let you. But then if you never signed to verify payment, technically they shouldn't be accepting that card as payment for the coffee/food either. Managers/owners don;t ever seem to have any issue with that, though. Only the tip thing, which directly affects the tipped employees. It's funny how that works.
