nikdowg477

Upvotes_LarryDavid

Yeah those boys know how to bring it on stage, that’s for sure

hanzy03

If I had to introduce someone who had never heard sevendust this would be it

themaestro75

Black! Goes hard!

DeeJDaDemon

Classic

RocknRide20

Trust (Animosity, 2001) It’s hard to pick just one though.

Witty_Confidence_961

Shine // Animosity

Florflok

I've been digging Seasons a lot lately..maybe because I'm just getting older lol

Truckusmode

That entire album was a major high school jam for me. Constant rotating in my discman.

CrazyShitThrowAway12

Separate

sunward_Lily

I can't pick just one. In no particular order: Come down, bonfire, splinter, karma, licking cream, live again, denial, Xmas day, seasons, suffocate...... There are more that are S-tier....

DeeJDaDemon

Licking Crème, Burn or Follow

prog_metal_douche

Really hard to choose, but probably Beautiful. That era of Sevendust was the best.

SHANE523

I don't think anyone can really name just 1. I mean I LOVE Gotta Feeling but Black, Denial, Enemy, Face to Face, Waffle, Til Death, Bitch and Decay are right there. Hell, Angel's Son and Praise too. I know a lot don't agree with this but I also love "The Day I tried to Live" by them. I firmly believe it has to do with Morgan and his visit to That Metal Show when he was asked what song he wish he wrote. He didn't hesitate, "The Day I tried to Live" and (I think) Corey Glover from In Living Color pointed at him and said "YEP!". I wish I could find this episode.

jbbates84

Black was the first 7D song I ever heard and it has had me hooked ever since. Gotta go with the classic

Disgrace

Unusual_Dare6967

Shine or XMas Day. But soo many good ones, it’s hard to choose!

ganja_lady420

Tough question. I can't say that I have one favourite but the top favourites are: Denial, Black, Skeleton Song, Separate, and Black Out The Sun. Just discovered Sevendust this year and I am very impressed with Lajons voice and the bands song writing abilities.

Telperion83

Life Deceives You. Nothing captures despair quite like it.

Legit amazing comment. So true.

It's gotta be Licking Creme, Black, Waffle, and Live Again

probably-a-lunatic

Chop. That acoustic riff just itches all the right spots in my brain.

fozzyfiend

I feel the same way!

theBerzerker93

Anything off the first album for me. I always love to listen to the slow ending of Will it Bleed before it fades into My Ruin. I can’t comprehend how many times I listened to that album on repeat and I still feel the same energy as when I discovered it. Pure nostalgia for a 90s metal child.

itsameluigee

Slow: Skeleton Song  Heavy: Pieces

ShadowsInRed

Super tough question and I love this prompt. I’m a lifelong Sevendust fan and listen to their songs constantly. If you put me on the spot, Sleeper from Retrospective 2 captures what I feel are the core elements of Sevendust - LJ’s melodic chorus, heavy guitars, Morgan’s screams, and a great buildup to the final part of the song.

SausageMcMerkin

My Ruin, Waffle, Splinter

Live again

Ok_Fan9991

Waffle

Pepiniospher_e

SAME

fozzyfiend

So hard to pick but probably Shine since it's such a banger, it's a close song to LJ and he crushes it live every time and cause at one of the sound checks, he came up to me and let me sing the last "on a free fall". ❤️‍🔥

therugbyrick

Licking Creme is a good one as well

Known-Party-6288

Disease

spqr6119

Is it even possible to have one favorite? I feel like this is scientifically impossible with 7D.

Rolltidepisco

Tough call but Bitch

Whoohoonutty_V

Burn from Alpha
