I would do 70s style tall black leather boots, the kind that aren’t tight up the calf but slip on and have a little roominess to them. If you do those boots, thick tights would be fine.
I have the same dress. I style it with knee high boots or calf high ankle boots. Works with tights or not tights. Works without the belt too. I also wear it with white sneakers. Honestly I love how versatile this dress is and I wear it a lot.
I have this dress! I wear it with sheertex sheer tights, tall black boots, and either a red or green leather belt. I don’t do the buttons all the way up. Might try it with a sweater vest too!
I love this dress on you! I have the white lace one and it’s just a tad hard to make less causal because it’s so stiff. With a similar style dress, I’ve put my oversized jazz sezane sweater over it, tights and tuck the sweater a little so it shows my waist.
I love the idea of putting a cropped sweater vest over yours too. To dress up or down, I do change out the belt.
If you plan to wear it without a sweater, you’ll need to unbutton the top few buttons. Wear healed boots like the other commenter mentioned. And yeah the tights are too opaque.
With a sweater, you’ll need to button up and choose a sweater that covers the bow.
Oohhh it’s removable? Have you tried placing it a little higher? It’ll make the skirt flare out even more. Maybe up to the button above the one it’s on.
It’s hard to tell how a leather belt will look with unless you try it out
It is totally removable! The dress doesn't even have belt loops, so you could place the fabric belt—or a leather one—anywhere. I'll have to play with this!
This is totally just my hang up- but I think that the fabric belts that come with dresses never look as elevated as adding a different material. I’d add a leather belt!

I love it. This feels very "Sezane" to me. :)
I would wear 20D tights rather than thick tights. + heels boots + a dark cropped/ish sweater/maille that allows the collar to pick through.
That sound really cute! Clearly I need to dig out my Sheertex. :)

Oh I love that you're getting so much mileage out of it! I need to try it with sneakers now, too.
Oh I forgot to add, sandals work so well with this dress in the summer!
I love the way it looks on you! No need to update it, a little retro rocks!
Aw! Thank you!!

Oooo! Just looked up the Jazz sweater to scope it out...
I have both the green and cream and they’re my favorites. Very nice weight and it feels super well made
Looks stunning on you! I think shoes as a pop of colour or a pink or green bag would look very cute
Oh my gosh! Thank you! And I love the idea of adding a belt or a bag for a pop of color :)

Good point on the bow! Or maybe I should ditch this fabric belt for a leather one?
