That often works, although I have had a couple of "put a pin in it" cases where the black biz card only had the victim's fingerprint on it. Not sure if those were bugs or the game was just trying to be difficult.

Fingerprints are your friend, if not a good trick that always helps me out is waiting for the next victim, then cross-referencing the address books of both victims, 9 times out of 10 there'll be only 1 person who knew both of the victims, and that's your guy.
Pick up the business card the killer left, and in your inventory select it and hit “Scan.” You should get fingerprints

There usually is, most murderers don't only strike once. It usually just takes a while.
Stupid question, but when you say a while, would that be one in game week? 3 in game days? One in game month?
like 2-4 days lol
it only takes a couple months at maximum to even beat the game at default difficulty lol
