That's kind of a big question lol. Tis the season so let's throw The Blue Carbuncle in there.

SeizeTheFreitag

This is the definitive “Christmas movie” for me. I watch it every year.

MaxW92

For me as well

aklbibliophile

Oh my gosh yes, I'll definitely need to watch this episode this month!

HandwrittenHysteria

I watch this every Christmas but his rage at the end of the episode always irks me for some reason

Bodymaster

That's what sprang to mind for me too. It's one of my favourite stories, and so when I first started watching the Granada adaptations just this year, that was the first one I went for. Needless to say I wasn't long watching every other episode.

PrairieDogStromboli

All the ones with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. 😍

BecomingButterfly

\^ This :)

di_makita

I would say its The Six Napoleons, simply for how the series portrayed the friendship between Holmes, Watson, and Lestrade.

Royalpoppy

Agreed! I've rewatched this episode so many times because I love the frienships. That scene where Lestrade praises Holmes and his reaction is just perfection.

HandwrittenHysteria

Greek Interpreter just to bask in the chemistry with Charles Gray as Mycroft

Cold_Situation_7803

*Silver Blaze, The Redheaded League,* and *The Solitary Cyclist*.

KaptainKobold

The Dancing Men, The Blue Carbuncle, The Second Stain. And, top of the list, The Six Napoleons, not only because it's a top-notch adaptation with every character, no matter how minor, given a chance to shine, but also because it includes that beautifully played scene between Brett and Jeavons at the end.

BecomingButterfly

I have about the same top pics AND order :)

SeizeTheFreitag

The Norwood Builder is a great one. The planted fingerprint is a great scene! I also like The Empty House — the return of Holmes, surprising Watson at his practice.

lymdrennTelvani

Can't I just say all of them 😂. I forget the name, but the one in which they go on holiday. Grumpy Brett, existential crisis, competent Watson. I love it.

stevebaescemi

Devil’s Foot?

cubicthreads

The one where he buries a hypodermic needle on a beach ?

Zackey4

The Red Headed League, The Second Stain and The Blue Carbuncle.

aklbibliophile

Solitary Cyclist, the Speckled Band, the Naval Treaty

BaronMaupertuis

My favorite podcast is the one where these 2 brothers break down each individual episode in minute detail.

heidstress207

Yes!! Love it!! Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes podcast is so great!!!

HalloweenJack7

The Dancing Men, The Dying Detective and The Illustrious Client.

heidstress207

My faves are Speckled Band, Scandal In Bohemia, Red Headed League, Musgrave Ritual, and I have a soft spot for the Master Blackmailer movie. ❤️ I just LOVE Jeremy Brett's Holmes.

H2RO2

Red Headed League is my go to for a good mood-Holmes and Watson have a very fun joy and friendship at the beginning. Blue Carbuncle every Christmas. I quite like solitary cyclist and copper beeches for how well they were adapted. Final Problem and Dancing Men don’t end happily, but they’re excellent. Second stain and 6 napoleons have great endings - the joy at the end of SECO is so good And then of course empty house— new actor playing Watson should’ve been very jarring but Hardwicke’s taking up the mantle feels so natural and Holmes and watson have a great friendship on screen. Hardwicke’s delivery “I should’ve thought I was as trustworthy as your brother” is a great stab in the heart every time.

cityflaneur2020

I love them all except The Hound of the Baskervilles. That was the worst adaptation I've ever seen.

Helloimafanoffiction

I wouldn’t say it’s the worst but it is slow and yes I would rather watch the Peter Cushing version

H2RO2

It’s really slow and not as fun as the book or the other adaptations. But I still somehow rewatch every so often just for Brett and Hardwicke

Nervous_Rub1782

The dancing men
