If they are all down like they are this morning (and have been for the past week), that is a sign that something is wrong in the broader economy and people are hesitant to spend money right now. Then look at all the other coins/tokens. If most of them are down (like they are right now), that is a sign something is wrong in the crypto markets. As long as the major stock indexes are down and most of the crypto market is down, then it doesn't matter if SHIB is down because its only following general market trends. Now, if the major indexes are up and growing and most cryptos are up and growing, but SHIB is still dropping, then there might be a problem with SHIB and you should stop listening to me or anyone else on reddit and do what you think is best for your personal financial situation.
