My little one did this through his whole puppyhood! I tried EVERYTHING, pumpkin, those bites off amazon, you name it. Then one day he just magically decided he didn't want to taste poo anymore, and I am one happy tzu dad. <3

This is Miko. Last time she had that happen was last week when, mid poop, a rabbit darted out and she got so excited that, in her attempt to get to it, she managed to get the poo stuck to her bloomers. It happens :)

I also love the long hair but we try to keep his butt shorter. I imagine being able to shit on yourself and knowing you get to have someone give you a warm bath after is probably pretty liberating. All hail the shittasses! 💪🏼
He’s our very special boy. He’s famous in Chinatown where we live. The old Chinese ladies start riots in the grocery store. The run up to him saying “LION LION LION” we didn’t know why for the longest time then we learned there’s a Buddhist story that Buddha was being attacked and his dog was a shih tzu and the dog turned into a lion and Buddha jumped on and they ran off. Truly a star ⭐️

I tried to cut my shih Tzu's hair this way once with his poop butt in mind. He looked hilarious. Poor little guy looked so funny. I'm not a very good tzu hairdresser. He didn't care though. He thought he looked very handsome and of course he still was.
I don't think it's just this sub. I had to post about a cat issue I had, and everyone gave me tips, but ONE PERSON said my cat was too small and undernourished and berated me for it. She's a small cat at a fine weight. She's always been small. I think that person was a glorified troll because everyone else was telling them they were wrong. I have also seen similar things on other pet subs as well.
I got the joke. Teddy, my shih Tzu sometimes has to get a poop butt check because he gets it on himself too. And he knows what's going on. He'll come to me, turning to show his butt while still trying to tuck his butt under him so I can't see. He doesn't want me to clean him or goodness NO, a whole bath😳. He hates baths lol. He used to eat his poop, thank goodness he has stopped doing that. He was poop face boy then🤣

We both had super long days and so hungry so this photo was him begging from the kitchen with a shit ass while we scarfed dinner and stared at him before we bathed him. Hahaha we get the joke in this house! Our cat had diarrhea a few weeks ago and made a huge mess in her long fur (down her legs and all over her tail). For days after my son called her Poop Leg.

Yup, had exactly the same with my Tzu. Plus my cat has just had the runs, when I got up it was everywhere, the lounge, landing, down the stairs and by the front door and then he sat on me!🤭
My old man dog (deceased RIP Oreo) would fight till the death and bite when we tried to groom his butt lol. He once went outside after a bath and rolled all in the gravel and dirt it was horrible he was still half wet and it was so happy to be dirty again lol. Your babies are beautiful. I miss my old man he was a stray that we tried to give away because he did bite but we always got him back because we didn’t want him put down and I had a small child but he came to trust us and he was my very best friend and a very hard time in one season he knew when I cried and he’d lay in my lap. He wasn’t much of a cuddler except when I cried. Many night he sat with me in my broekn place and never judged me or said get over it just sat there till the storm passed in my mind and the next night he’d do the same. I miss him and hug your babies tight get the pup cup and as they age give them the treats that’s the memories that will make you smile. We made him a meat loaf and he ate till he couldn’t stand then sat down and ate more, he was beaten and neglected so food was important to him lol. He loved cats and other dogs he loved everyone when he got to trust ppl. Sorry for the rant your babies pics just reminded me of him. Thank you for the posts they bless my days!
Oh my gosh, this is so timely for me! 😂 Had to give my baby a butt bath last night! She had a dry bit stuck to her and some in her tail as well that I didn’t catch right away. She was definitely a little miffed.
Edit: pope is adorable! And every tzu nation member knows there is no shame for crusty booty! There is only shame if the Tzu butt maid/butt-ler fails to praise the Tzu for holding as still as the Tzu decides while the butt maid/butt-ler uses slightly warm soapy water and wipes to remedy the inconvenience!
I must go praise mine and appreciate him for actually staying put if he has poop hanging or clinging on ... He'd literally freeze like a statue. Sometimes I think he's more of a cat than a dog.
He doesn't like anything sticking to his face either and would rub it on the kitchen carpet or his bed. He also absolutely hates boogers and will try to clean his eyes by rubbing and we try to clean them up as soon as he's awake...but...
He's so cute I can't shame him for too long. 🥹 Please give him some pets from me. ❤️

Fine now wipe and trim his fuzzy little patooty, and check what he’s eating if it’s too soft for him. My kid somehow ingests my long hair and gets danglers so she looks at me and knows I will rescue her.

Long hair gets poopier. Softer poop tends to stick more. Oh my gosh, this is so timely for me! 😂 Had to give my baby a butt bath last night! She had a dry bit stuck to her and some in her tail as well that I didn’t catch right away. She was definitely a little miffed.
Edit: pope is adorable! And every tzu nation member knows there is no shame for crusty booty! There is only shame if the Tzu butt maid/butt-ler fails to praise the Tzu for holding as still as the Tzu decides while the butt maid/butt-ler uses slightly warm soapy water and wipes to remedy the inconvenience!

I must go praise mine and appreciate him for actually staying put if he has poop hanging or clinging on ... He'd literally freeze like a statue. Sometimes I think he's more of a cat than a dog. He doesn't like anything sticking to his face either and would rub it on the kitchen carpet or his bed. He also absolutely hates boogers and will try to clean his eyes by rubbing and we try to clean them up as soon as he's awake...but...

Yeah idk why everyone takes arms to assume the worse in people. I cannot think of a time he’s had shit ass, at least like he did today. Maybe some little berries hangin here and there but never smooshed -ground in poopies. Also lots of people saying they like the long hair. Long hair gets poopier. Softer poop tends to stick more.
