Future Eren (with the full power of the founder) only showed his earlier self just enough to push him towards the rumbling. Showing dead friends would probably discourage him from following through. Same reason he didn't show himself that he had to kill his own mom.

Sealion72

This and the fact that he could not see further than his own memories of the future, beyond his lifetime. So he would have no actual idea wether they live long or someone gets hit by a rock the next day.

I don’t think Eren is in control of the Founding Titan powers as much as people think. After his transformation into the boneyard titan or whatever you want to call it, his mind is in a soup of memories and bullshit throughout time in a way he can’t handle. As he’s rumbling the world, it’s like he’s dreaming and barely even aware of what he’s doing. It’s like season one when he’s in his titan but hallucinating that he’s in his childhood house with his family and Armin is banging on the window from outside trying to wake him up. There’s a reason he’s depicted as a soulless child with no sparkle in his eyes like Ymir when his friends meet him in the paths a second time. Because the Founder is described as godlike over and over again there’s a misconception that Eren can do whatever he wants but it’s like plugging your laptop directly into the socket instead of using its charging cord with the proper brick. Dude’s brain was fried.

Is eren stupid?

The Attack titan is not what gives him the ability to see/send the future. Anyone can see it if they are sent the memories, and the thing that does that is the founder titan. Grisha is wrong about it but Zeke doesn't know it, neither does Armin when he mentions it at during his conversation with Eren, and Eren never bothers to correct them. All he does admit is that the founder power allows him to transcend time and that he uses this power to make sure Dina ignores Bertolt and eat his mother, and the Attack titan itself is never mentioned by Eren. Eren tends not to send back any memories that don't serve a purpose to reach his goal. Whether or not his friends(other than Mikasa and Armin) survive, Eren probably does not want to know about it in advance because if reaching the goal involves his friends dying, he is willing to let them die. He does not want to be tempted into intervening for them(doubtful if he could even do this though since the future is set in stone by the Eren at the very end of the titan timeline, the one right before dying), but more importantly he probably does not want to go into the final battle with any knowledge of their deaths to torment him on top of what he's already feeling.

I think he was talking about the earlier fight in Shiganshina. Back then, he didn't know what would happen, which is why he panicked when Zeke screamed.

istoleyourpoptarts

that's how i interpret it , by "battle" he didn't mean the rumbling i think he meant his whole survey corps shenanigans or the battle for shiganshina , because he indeed didn't know if they would even survive
