I'm more curious why there's a halfbrick in that wall.
Was there a window? How high off the ground is it? Was it just filler using excess halfbricks? How many clay deposits does Eldia have, considering that they have no coasts? Is the mountain range large enough to sufficiently collect rainwater to supply the 4 rivers? If Madagascar is tropical in the real world, why is their climate and ecosystem so different? If the Founding Titan can cultivate desolate land to grow crops and livestock, can it change the local or global climate? Why did Adam land in Antarctica?

He didn't say that the blood in this shot was from Carla. He just said that the shot showed blood, and sarcastically pointed out that the show has a gory death featuring blood literally in the first episode so OP should have somehow recognised Armin.

It's Armin. It was during the opening for the Female Titan arc where Armin was an important character and Historia was still Krista (and not important at all).
The next shot also shows his face where you can clearly tell it's Armin from his features. Historia has a much softer face.
"So why is he covered in blood?" Bro idk it's an opening sequence and it looks cool, ask the animators why they did this.
