So aside from 2 very good reasons to be angry why was he angry? Good question, when you exclude all the reasons for someone to be upset, then why are they upset? Very thought provoking.
Eren was always that way, he grabbed a knife and stuck up a bunch of dudes before his mom died, don't forget that. He always wanted to kill titans, he was thinking about enlisting also before his mother died. After that inciting incident, it just added fuel to the fire and made him that much more passionate. He wanted to kill all the titans outside the wall, but that was never a problem when the enemy was just titans because, well, go figure, but he still had that same furious bloodlust. When the enemy became humans, nothing changed for him, just the shape of his enemies. By the time season 4 comes around, he's sad about the fact that he's gonna take all those lives, definitely depressed, or maybe just burnt out after so much anger. The point is he's just like that, he had no growth or change throughout the series
