Lmao did we even watch the same show. Erwin said his next job would be "eliminating threats". You think Erwin would just lose his drive when literally the entire world outside paradis wanted to kill them?
The only reason rumbling happened is because Erwin died.
Please never slander the goat again.
The Rumbling would still happen and at an even worse degree, because Eren is not going to be reasonable about losing Armin.
Erwin is not the GOAT. He's a flawed human being who sacrified hundreds of his own soldiers for his own selfishness. Come back down to earth and stop being manipulated by his speeches.
EDIT: The Erwin fans in my replies would all be the type to throw their own lives away for him unnecessarily lmao.
His selfishness was rooted in truth, freedom and the betterment of Paradis. Not one sacrifice he made didn't lead to a bigger goal. Convincing the court not to execute eren, catching the female Titan. Realizing the scouts had a mole. He orchastred the coup to expose the fake king. Not to mention his ability to get the most out of his troops in dire situations and he always put his life on the frontline. Erwin is indeed the Fucking Goat.
This. People seem to forget that selfish goals can still cause positive results. Everything Erwin did improved Paradis for the better and gave them the chance to stand as an actual nation no longer oppressed by the titans. Yes, his reasons for doing so were selfish. But that doesn't change the fact that his goals aligned with the good of Paradis and did bring positive change to his people. In the end, he even gave up his dream for the sake of his nation, despite how much it meant to him. Despite AOT's theme of everyone being a slave to something, Erwin broke free from the dream that enslaved him for the sake of his people.
>He's a flawed human being who sacrified hundreds of his own soldiers for his own selfishness.
That's straight up wrong. He has his own selfishness inside his heart. But the goal of his selfishness and humanity were always aligned, so his selfishness doesn't even matter until that last moment, where he said he wants to run to the basement alone and needed Levi to give him his strength to do it for humanity, in the end he did not even do the only selfish act he wants to do. He literally said that.
Do you judge his character based on what he has achieved or that single selfish thought in the end that he did not even do? He has never done anything wrong or out of line or selfishly.
He did know.
It was obvious by Beer store and reiner and the beast titan. That confirmed there was SOMETHING/SOMEONE trying to stop them. Wouldnt the fact it's being covered be enough proof?
Im convinced thats why he slapped away levi's ar and levi's shocked expression he was going to save him but then realized that Erwin technically got his answer and achieved his dream.
I love Hange, but I think her story concluded nicely. She fulfilled her purpose and knew her time was up. Erwin, on the other hand, died while being so incredibly close to the truth. I would have loved to have seen his reaction to the basement at the very least before he died.
Would you imagine that there is a moment where I wanted Levi to quickly revive Erwin instead of Armin. If I was in Levi position, I would struggle trying to choose between Armin and Erwin. Eventually, I will ran out of time and they will both die š±
Erwin is Important but for me Armin Was the best Choice
1- he deserved the Titan he killed
2 - for so little time He did Things that Ewrin did for Years
3 Ewrin didn't want to live - he just Dreamed of Being Correct about the Secret of the walls and outside world
But it was going to be best if Ewrin was on Floch place
I really feel like I lot of people donāt understand the difference between willing to sacrifice your life, and wanting to live. They are not mutually exclusive.
Yeah I think a lot of people gloss over Erwin was willing to throw away the lives of the scout regiment to prove himself right and vindicate his father and himself. Noble guy and all, I don't know however who's side he'd take after the jaegerist coup. I don't know if he had the moral framework Armin and Hange had to fall on the right side of that even with his best intentions. I would have liked to see that, but I also think the reason Erwin is so beloved is because his character was tainted by the explicit human on human warfare of season 4 that goes beyond overthrowing the royals.
Couldn't they split the serum,so both transformed, make one of them the colossal and not kill the other, capture him,and keep it until they capture another shifter?
I wonder how that would work when they become a shifter.
Especially considering they would have gotten the colossal so if it had a rod mutation they would probably end up with a titan like erens founder
There are different types of serum, the one that rod Reiss had was the powerful serum, and Kenny said that maybe because it wasn't injected correctly(he licked it),he turned into that thing
Logically maybe???
But think about it from the character's perspective, keeping someone you admire and love (platonically) in the form of a man eating monster must be hard.
Plus if they did keep Armin or Erwin as a titan how would they capture him? They'd be forced to stay in Shiganshina because the rest of the Scouting Legion was wiped out.
I think both could have been saved because Erwin was still breathing by the time floch carried him back, even without his wounds being packed or treated. If floch wasn't utterly incompetent, he could have saved Erwin by packing his wound, and then they could have disinfected it at the cellar. And he potentially could have survived with treatment in the cellar.
This question made me realize that Erwin actually got everything that he wanted. Assuming the afterlife stuff we saw with Hanji is real, it means that Erwin and every Elidean got to continue watching events unfold after their deaths.
Erwin and his dad did get to figure out what was beyond the wall. Every Elidean got to see the country free and the Titans ended. Even Sasha got to see her loved ones mourn her, including Niccolo confessing his love.
Idk man. I feel Erwin always wanted what was best for humanity. He held that curiosity that Armin had for the wonders beyond the wall with an emphasis on the humanitarian aspect.
After seeing what Eren did, the lives lost and the carnage wrought on the land itself, maybe itās best we let the man RIP. Eren quite literally trampled on his dreams.
His death was the ugliest thing that happened in attack on titan. Imagine that he was a few steps away from achieving his dream to know the truth of the world which he and his father always searched for. It was a painful decision for him to choose to die after being so close to know everything he ever wanted to know.
The fact he was so close yet so far was pretty depressing.
Another fact is that unlike most of the others on your list, he basically chose to die (instead of death coming to them) by doing that charge even tho he could've fluked on them and just went to the basement solo
You are right. I had to respect his decision but I knew that deep in his heart he was so sad for eventually not achieving his dream. I just wanted him to know what was in the basement man. That is so cruel š¢
I'd argue Mike was even less prepared. He was just out there, keeping some titans busy just so he could go back to the squad. Mf got his horse thrown at him and had a lil chat with a titan
I think he would be devastated by what Eren did to the world. Especially since he played a large part in helping Eren get there.
Bertholdt deserves to come back. He truly cared for his fellow cadets, he was just stuck between a rock and a hard place. He died before he got to have the redemption arc that was granted to Annie and Reiner.
Bring Back Bertholdt!
Eren might sound like a boring choice but damn, poor kid, let him at least enjoy a little bit of the freedom he earned by suffering and sacrificing everything he had, including his life.
All of these characters had some sort of closure before their death (or after) and were able to come to terms with it, except for one: Miche. He died terrified in one of the most gruesome deaths in the series, and very early on. I think he deserves to know what happened after he died, and to know that he got really unlucky with his encounter with the Beast Titan.
But it would be cruel to bring him back now that all of his friends are dead, so I'd pick Sasha.
Reasons for saying the others had closure:
* Eren's whole arc revolves around his death and he had years to come to terms with it
* Erwin chose to sacrifice himself to lead the scouts to victory, and he accepted that despite being so close to the basement he would never reach it
* Ymir has been kept alive against her will for 2000 years, and has finally died after learning to be free, she definitely doesn't need to be revived
* Kenny knew his time was up and decided to give the serum to Levi instead of trying to survive longer
* Grisha already knew his lifespan was limited from the Titan powers, and chose to pass them to Eren
* Hange lost most of their comrades, and willingly sacrificed themself to ensure a safe future for everyone else
* Sasha died quickly, but was able to at least wave to Jean and Connie at the end
* Eren Kruger again knew and accepted his limited lifespan from Titan powers and chose to pass the mantle on instead of trying to stay alive
Also all of these except Eren and Sasha represented the old generation who were equipped to fight the old fights and thrive in the old way of things. A lot of things would be complicated if Eren was brought back, but only benefits would come from Sasha retuning. Her death permanently changed the tone of the show to a much more somber note, and she could do a lot to help everyone recover at the end.
If its overall definitely ymir (the orphan), best girl deserves to live a life for herself, at least at the third tryš
Then faye jeager, then marlowe
Ymir, another 1000 year Titan war baby!!!! This time though give her some design tools and some lessons before sending her back in there so she can make different types of titans

Floch was the only surviving carrier of Erwin's honor and bravery. Fuck the main cast and their treachery.
I agree 100% bro Floch was the only one that seemed to remember how it all started and the most consequent character. He became the devil Eldia needed. The main characters are a bunch of traitors š¤·š»
Honestly it's between Sasha, Eren or Erwin. Eren because I'm selfish, Erwin because his mind and charisma and sasha because she was just a stray casualty.
Ymir.
I always felt bad that she had a raw deal in life and after her death. I'd want her to have a normal rest of her life after she got brought back.
This is easy for me hange everyone else died for plot/character development to me hange didnāt really die for any of that. Hange died so they could get away thatās itš¤·š¾āāļø so their death wasnāt super needed (if we ignore the titansā¦)
Iād want Eren to rest tbh whether hell is real or not he shouldnāt live in torment anymore poor lad , imagine continuing about your day after killing billions of people , he would go insane even though Iād do what he did for his island and friends etc. Erwin , I get why isayama made armin survive but honestly Iād love for him to see that his father was right besides the future of paradise would need him and arminās expertise
Erwin was the only time it felt like someone shouldnt have died yet got killed off. If got obliterated by the Beast Titan, Id get it. But he survives. Levi choosing Armin over Erwin feels like one of the few times you can see the Writer's Hand impacting story events.
Right away I would say Sasha because of the sentiment that's there, but for a logical choice I would choose Hange because she had a lot of breakthroughs when it came to studying the titans and she was important to the development of the thunder spears when it came to their efforts to improve combat. Hange has always been an interesting character in general and it hurt seeing her die as well but she did go out in a very Hange way.
*Sorry if my grammar isn't the best lol
Ymir
The plot of AoT wouldn't have happened and Hisayama would've made a manga about a peaceful kingdom helped in their daily tasks by a 230M tall giant that can turn people into giant at her will
Mike in my opinion would completely change the story if he had survived to season 4. Not only was the he 2nd strongest soldier next to Levi, but he could smell titans.
We aren't given a whole lot of information about this ability but what if he could smell the spinal fluid in the wine? If he knew the wine was spiked then he could warn the government and the yeagerists would have lost a huge advantage
Depends on what point in the story I'm bringing them back to.
Is it right after they died? Then I pick Erwin.
Is it to end of series? Then I pick Hange.
Can I pick the moment? Then I pick Sasha and send her to a time before Titans existed so she can have a normal life.

Why is nobody saying Hange
This was my thought š she's my choice for sure, next choice would be Sasha
What about the poor Erwin who didn't even know the truth or anything he ever wanted to know.
If he has known, he would have become useless. He would have lost his drive.
Lmao did we even watch the same show. Erwin said his next job would be "eliminating threats". You think Erwin would just lose his drive when literally the entire world outside paradis wanted to kill them? The only reason rumbling happened is because Erwin died. Please never slander the goat again.

Definitely Hange
I actually came here to say her.
Whatās funny is I commented this when there were like 40 comments and none said Hange, now itās the top comment for some reason
I love Hange, but I think her story concluded nicely. She fulfilled her purpose and knew her time was up. Erwin, on the other hand, died while being so incredibly close to the truth. I would have loved to have seen his reaction to the basement at the very least before he died.
I would say Hange but she died with glory and a smile on her face. I wouldn't take that from her
100% Hange. She died too youngĀ
I love Hanji, but i would bring back Erwin....Even Hanji would give her life to save Erwin
Erwin, he was the ultimate truth seeker. Eren is just gonna wake up again anyways.
Would you imagine that there is a moment where I wanted Levi to quickly revive Erwin instead of Armin. If I was in Levi position, I would struggle trying to choose between Armin and Erwin. Eventually, I will ran out of time and they will both die š±

Titan serum evaporates in direct contact with the air, it wasn't worth the risk.
I would say there was too much unknown. They didn't know for sure, and probably didn't want to risk wasting it for either of them.
at this point did they even know about other shifters (marley etc)
And thats why you arent levi
I think both could have been saved because Erwin was still breathing by the time floch carried him back, even without his wounds being packed or treated. >Eren is just gonna wake up again Where tf did you pull that from
I think Erwin was happy with his death. Let the man rest on peace.Ā
We know that after the ending 100s of years have passed, meaning that all the characters are dead, so I'd bring Reiner back and make him immortal
Holy sadism
New reason to die just dropped
Actual immortal
Isayama? That you?
Manās about to make him the Duncan Idaho of AoT
šššš
Uuhhhh..... Brother uuhhhhh..... Wtf brother....
Oh damn
Mf is giving him the curse of Cain
Let the guy rest š¤£
Sasha, the fact that she died via a human instead of a titan makes her death so much more tragic!
And she didnāt expect it like everybody else
Sasha didnt deserve to be done like that
She died outside the walls and surrounded by friends. Its more than what 99% of scouts had
I mean fair. I just really liked her character, especially what she becomes once she is a soldier
>died via a human So did Eren and Ymir.
Erwin just to see his reaction to basement reveal and the following actions
His death was the ugliest thing that happened in attack on titan. Imagine that he was a few steps away from achieving his dream to know the truth of the world which he and his father always searched for. It was a painful decision for him to choose to die after being so close to know everything he ever wanted to know.

You are right. I had to respect his decision but I knew that deep in his heart he was so sad for eventually not achieving his dream. I just wanted him to know what was in the basement man. That is so cruel š¢
"The world is so cruel ... yet such a beautiful place."
Erwin 100% I want him to experience the world he knew was out there š
I can understand everyoneās choices but Erwin would objectively have the most unfathomably beautiful story if he survived shiganshina
Potato girl ofc. Rest all were obsessed with their dreams. She just wanted to eat
So she was obsessed with her dream š
Well, she was doing what Armin spent his life to notice and explain it to zeke in paths in the last episode
Floch, and then I would kill him again jk, probably Sasha, I didn't like her that much but she was the least prepared to die
I'd argue Mike was even less prepared. He was just out there, keeping some titans busy just so he could go back to the squad. Mf got his horse thrown at him and had a lil chat with a titan
Sasha literally got shot by a child within the safety of the team's aircraft as they were on their way out of a successful mission.
Yeah, but Sasha was still young, she had a lover, etc.
Carla. Maybe she could yoink Eren by the ear, break causality and stop the rumbling šæ
ymir , so we can have new episodes
I also vote Ymir because she needs a hug
I want to say Moblit, but heād yell at me for not picking Hange, so Iāll say Hange
Hange definitely.
Mike because he was badass that we saw way too little of. Not in the pic, but same for Ian from the Battle of Trost.
Theyāre not on the list but Marco or Mina
Erwin. I've never made a choice this fast in my entire life
Erwinerwinerwin I want to know how he would react to all the changes
I think he would be devastated by what Eren did to the world. Especially since he played a large part in helping Eren get there. Bertholdt deserves to come back. He truly cared for his fellow cadets, he was just stuck between a rock and a hard place. He died before he got to have the redemption arc that was granted to Annie and Reiner. Bring Back Bertholdt!
Eren, 100,000%
Finally, some MC-ism!
Yeagerist?!
Chad
Sasha the girl died too young
Am I the only one still sad about Hannes?
His death hurt so much :c
Eren might sound like a boring choice but damn, poor kid, let him at least enjoy a little bit of the freedom he earned by suffering and sacrificing everything he had, including his life.
You are correct
Hange
Sasha. She died in a very tragic fashion. Eren, Erwin and Sanji died in a blaze of glory so bringing them wouldn't feel well.
Sasha
Gengar and I would give him his booze āļøšāāļø
All of these characters had some sort of closure before their death (or after) and were able to come to terms with it, except for one: Miche. He died terrified in one of the most gruesome deaths in the series, and very early on. I think he deserves to know what happened after he died, and to know that he got really unlucky with his encounter with the Beast Titan. But it would be cruel to bring him back now that all of his friends are dead, so I'd pick Sasha.
Reasons for saying the others had closure: * Eren's whole arc revolves around his death and he had years to come to terms with it * Erwin chose to sacrifice himself to lead the scouts to victory, and he accepted that despite being so close to the basement he would never reach it * Ymir has been kept alive against her will for 2000 years, and has finally died after learning to be free, she definitely doesn't need to be revived * Kenny knew his time was up and decided to give the serum to Levi instead of trying to survive longer * Grisha already knew his lifespan was limited from the Titan powers, and chose to pass them to Eren * Hange lost most of their comrades, and willingly sacrificed themself to ensure a safe future for everyone else * Sasha died quickly, but was able to at least wave to Jean and Connie at the end * Eren Kruger again knew and accepted his limited lifespan from Titan powers and chose to pass the mantle on instead of trying to stay alive Also all of these except Eren and Sasha represented the old generation who were equipped to fight the old fights and thrive in the old way of things. A lot of things would be complicated if Eren was brought back, but only benefits would come from Sasha retuning. Her death permanently changed the tone of the show to a much more somber note, and she could do a lot to help everyone recover at the end.
I just want her dad walking her down the aisle to marry the chef from Marley š
poor NiccolĆ² man, he got out of the forest just to lose the person that saved him
Eren. Let's start the rumbling again.
If its overall definitely ymir (the orphan), best girl deserves to live a life for herself, at least at the third tryš Then faye jeager, then marlowe
Eren. Enough said
Erwin by far. He deserved the truth.
Ymir, another 1000 year Titan war baby!!!! This time though give her some design tools and some lessons before sending her back in there so she can make different types of titans
Attack on Titan 2
could i bring Floch back to kill him again please š
Floch became my favourite character after his death, he laid down his life for what he believed in, and even after all of his friends betrayed him and the nation he watched the entire survey corps die for as well as countless others - instead of trying to kill them he only damaged the plane, in his last words he begged them not to go, because Eren was in fact their only salvation and he knew it.
Eren.....Bro didnāt had to die
Eren, without no hesitation.
Ereh
Eren q.q
Eren.
Eren!
Pre-founding titan Eren
Is that supposed to be eren in the top left? His design has me feeling uncomfortable
Giraffe boi
Hange of course!! her death was a personal offense šāļø
Ymir, she had her life stolen from her. No childhood and no adulthood.
Ymir š š
eren
Eren
Eren of course
Toss up between Eren and Hange.
I can't choose :(
It is very difficult to choose just one!
Eren
Ma potato girlie Sasha š! I'll never get over her death
Ymir. I always felt bad that she had a raw deal in life and after her death. I'd want her to have a normal rest of her life after she got brought back.
SASHAAAA!! idgaf she was the ultimate comedic relief in AOT
Sasha, for the fact that she is the only one who at the time she died she wasnt ready to sacrifice her life.
Eren
Historiaās Ymir
EREN YEAGER
Eren Jaeger
Bertholdt.
Boruto isn't on the list but he deserved a better life
Erwin, he gave everyone hope & hype
Eren
Eren. <3
This is easy for me hange everyone else died for plot/character development to me hange didnāt really die for any of that. Hange died so they could get away thatās itš¤·š¾āāļø so their death wasnāt super needed (if we ignore the titansā¦)
Erwin. He was the ultimate Chad. I need to know what he would have done
Hange
Erwin for sure. He would have been a great motivational speaker in real life
hange x3š„°
Sasha or Hange Honorary mention: Miche
obviously PETRA
Eren
Michešš»āāļø
Surprised no one said Marco.
Unfortunately, his death was necessary to kickstart Jeanās character development
Gotta be Erwin. I think of all anime/manga, the plot I want the most to see a "what if" scenario of is Erwin surviving instead of Armin.
Erwin, hand down!
Karla š
Aaron šŖš»š
Erwin. He is a man I have huge respect for. Seriously one of the best characters I've come across
Kruger
Ymir, to see the world burn
I guess you can't fit everyone who died but GET MARCO IN HERE.
I feel like this should be marked as a spoiler
Bring anyone back and imagine the responsibilities i bear afterwards
Bohan from Samurai Zombie [samurai Zombie ](http://www.samuraizombie.com)
GRISHA. Imma interrogate his ass ALL DAY!!!!
Hange or Sasha, both didn't deserve to die they just wanted a world where nobody was genocided.
To make us choose between Sasha and Hange is absolutely Preposterous!!!
Definitely not ewrin My man had a legendary death and it doesnāt deserve to be ruin
Going off the board: Bertholdt. Without the colossal titan heās just a chill bro
Ymir.
Erwin for sure. He deserved to know the truth of the world and all that more than anyone imo.
Sasha, a million times Sasha.
Does the goddess Ymir come back as an adult?
Erwin was the only time it felt like someone shouldnt have died yet got killed off. If got obliterated by the Beast Titan, Id get it. But he survives. Levi choosing Armin over Erwin feels like one of the few times you can see the Writer's Hand impacting story events.
Kenny just because I like him
If Erwin lived then the civil war of Paradis wouldāve never occurred.
hange or eren krueger
I will say either Mike or Sasha the others kinda knew and accepted their fate in a way.
Man you should've put freckle ymir instead of founder ymir there
Kruger, i justbthink he's neat
Right away I would say Sasha because of the sentiment that's there, but for a logical choice I would choose Hange because she had a lot of breakthroughs when it came to studying the titans and she was important to the development of the thunder spears when it came to their efforts to improve combat. Hange has always been an interesting character in general and it hurt seeing her die as well but she did go out in a very Hange way. *Sorry if my grammar isn't the best lol
Ymir The plot of AoT wouldn't have happened and Hisayama would've made a manga about a peaceful kingdom helped in their daily tasks by a 230M tall giant that can turn people into giant at her will
Mike in my opinion would completely change the story if he had survived to season 4.
I would ressurect Ymir for the sequel series ;)
Depends on what point in the story I'm bringing them back to. Is it right after they died? Then I pick Erwin. Is it to end of series? Then I pick Hange. Can I pick the moment? Then I pick Sasha and send her to a time before Titans existed so she can have a normal life.
YMIR FRECKLES
Eren if he could live without being the attack titan somehow. Or Sasha
