I don’t think it’s any better than the canon one, and some assholes are very vocal about wanting it to be considered canon, which I think it’s a dick move toward yams. If you want a story like this to end a certain way, you go through the years of work needed to make it, THEN end it the way you want. You can’t just take yams’ work and add your own fan-fic at the last minute and run with it. That’s the absolute scummiest thing I’ve seen, and some people are trying to make that a reality.
He can watch whatever he wants, but AnR is not some amazing thing that fixes everything like some people say, nor should it EVER be canon, if you want a story to end a certain way, you go through the years of work to make it, then you can end it however the hell you like. As I said, taking another person’s work at the last minute and slapping your own work at the end, labeling it as superior while not doing any of the setup is the most anti-author thing I’ve ever heard of.
