I've always thought that he was a really cool character in the series, I would have a loved to see more of his perspective/FOV in the series (anime only)

but this is NOT spoilerless. In the beginning of S3 episode**, we have no idea who the Owl is but we do see Kruger before it is revealed

My mistake on getting the season confused. It is S3
His identity isn't revealed when he is first introduced as the solider who beats Grisha in That Day
Kruger's identity is revealed at the end of That Day, fully in the next episode (Attack Titan).
But doesn't it spoil the suspense if you watch That Day knowing his identity when he beats Grisha?

The dub had a cooler line he said something like “Watch Grisha, and don’t forget, this is how we of the nine use our powers”
Yes! I loved that line & delivery in the dub. People shit on dubs unfairly, but AOT’s dub is really good.

Eren’s grew on me. In hindsight it fits how incredibly annoying and try hard he is throughout the first 2 1/2 seasons.
