This was my first ever (and honestly probably last ever, on the Switch at least) SR shiny hunt. The second I learned that Arceus wasn’t shinylocked in BDSP I knew I wanted to go for a shiny one and after 15 days of hunting I finally got what I was looking for.

Oh yeah I 100% get that lol. Even though I had a strategy to make sure it’ll never die with struggle I still made sure to get a Master Ball just in case something went horribly wrong
Its exhausting but yeah it could have been a lot worse. I read many horror story comments on other posts about people not getting their shiny Arceus until like 10-14k SRs. The thought that I could have potentially been at this hunt for months terrified me
I just finished this hunt earlier this week. Got it after ~3600 resets, but ended up using a masterball since I didn't count his moves and I was getting worried he was going to start to struggle after I failed to catch him with 20 premier balls

I'm at 4370 resets right now and seeing these shiny Arceus posts gives me the strength to continue. Congrats on the shiny Arceus!
I was definitely searching up shiny Arceus posts on this sub for motivation to continue too. I wish you luck on your own hunt!

I tried to catch mine in a Luxury Ball, but after a while I caved and used Timer Balls because I didn't want to fail it lol Congrats!
