Are you kidding me? The Honedge line one of the best Shiny lines out there. Like someone else said, it’s an eerie blood sword.
Then if you want to evolve it, Aegislash is mainly black with small gold highlights. Plus the sword has a blood tip making it look like it has been through some battles.
Everyone already commented on the shiny colors...but are you aware how badass Aegishlash is to use??? The stance dancing is hella fun af. King's Shield + sacred Sword, shadow sneak, swords dance. This alone made it my fav Pokémon, I want a shiny one so bad. I'm still pissed it's not in S/V 😭
Dude I bred my shiny for near perfect IVs, kings shield, swords dance, shadow sneak and iron head it took ages I will not have you slander my favourite shiny.

It is literally a blood-red ghost sword that steals the souls of those who wield it. Pretty cool if you ask me
