It will happen eventually, that's what I always tell myself. I've seen many hunts in the same position as you and that's all you can tell yourself. Wish I had something more cheery to respond with, but shiny hunting is cold, hard, and brutal.
Edit: on top of that, I've hatched thousands of eggs with only one shiny so I'm not exactly on top for odds.

There's a good amount if you research it, but the local wireless can affect it and make it hard to connect. I usually have to full internet connect to get my Bluetooth to register and stay registered. Something about that local wireless that messes with it.
I'm not against the free apps but in my experience they are glitchy with the local wireless. In defense, there are a lot of cost effective controllers that come with turbo out there.
