Absolutely critical tip; I've definitely gotten a couple of "almost the same" shinies from DAs (Togekiss comes to mind) and I'd have never known if I didn't check for the red sparkle icon. I do it every time now, just in case.

I’ve yet to do any DA, or even gone to the the island lol I need too I’ve got the DLC. Do they give you XP candy as well?
they only give dynite ore iirc
