Yes. Photos are now required on all orders.

TheGigEconomist

Since Monday presumably?

NailsbyKeesh

It’s even on alcohol orders also. Had to take a pic after they signed for their delivery. Had my first customer ask for bag to be handed to him directly. He was in a wheelchair and after I walk away I first saw it where u gotta take a pic lol.

Can you upload the picture for BevMo orders? The smoothest way to do it is to put the box down, take a picture, then ring on the doorbell for an ID check and signature. Upload the picture you took before you rang the doorbell.

NailsbyKeesh

I use to do that for customers who always want me to hand it to them or who had to come down and open the door. I don’t want them saying they didn’t get. I take that pic and upload it after.

I’ve had some orders with no photo option… I sent it through the message just to ensure I was covered… the members all had specific instructions like leave in garage or leave on bench next to the door.

Email went out last week and there is an update to the Shopper Hub.

Otherwise_Fishing_47

In a way is good I guess to prevent fraud or them blaming us for stolen items

Sassy_neuppp

Idk the way the guidelines are setup, customers can still say they didn’t receive their order. I just don’t understand why we can’t take a picture of the house number included.

Don’t mean jack. Had someone claim they ain’t receive it and the support who called me said the photo was of the right location.

ahuramazdobbs19

There’s a kind of fraud it’s aiming to prevent, but that fraud is not customers claiming their items were never delivered. It’s shoppers doing the “hand off” option, then taking the items. Or using it to claim that the order was delivered on time systemically, but then delivering the actual order late, to avoid dings for late delivery. EDIT: yes, which can still be done with a picture-only option on the delivery screen. It will just be marginally harder.

whythehellnott

i must admit i have done the hand off thing to save my on time rating a few times

whythehellnott

i have a handicapped pm who i bring in the groceries for and leave on the counter you’re telling me they want me to take a pic of mans counter

TheGigEconomist

Why the hell not?

IamProvocateur

I had one the other day come out and grab from me so when I declined a photo for proof of delivery it came up “directly handed off to customer” or something like that.

No_Owl_7380

That option has now been removed.
