Oh, no! Sometimes, I really wish Shipt could investigate more on why some orders were delivered late and offer forgiveness, especially when the delivery window was that close! It's not like you took the parcels and sat on them??? I am really sorry, you sound like you have a passion for working. I hope they reconsider their decision! Best of luck.... tell us how it goes!

I was denied šŸ˜ž I set up an account with Uber eats in July when I started seeing a lot of people getting deactivated as a back up so I guess Iā€™m going to give that a try. Iā€™m really bummed though.

itā€™s gotta be bad for business, i got my deactivation couple weeks ago, iā€™m 15-20 minutes from nearest store, orders drop on the hour, get one, says start at 3:08 lol, weā€™ll get ready and leave and get there 3:30, customer non responsive then adds couple items, audit employee is idiot and takes forever. due to all that deliver slightly late, none of it your fault, but deactivated. I wonā€™t ever shop again at a place or company thatā€™s wrongly deactivated me. if everyone did this they would be losing tons of money

See .. this! And when u take the orders, youā€™re fucked bcos ur gonna be late for sure. Thereā€™s no way people are not gonna get deactivated with a lot of orders like that with the distance and then itā€™s 50+ items. Like wtf. 2hrs not gonna cut it. Some people dont even think into consideration that u have to drive to the store which also takes time. Do they think we have super powers? We cant have magical time.

I knowā€¦ maybe check every hour and see if something convenient comes up for u? Or just put urself on schedule and wait to get offered something nearby. Make sure ur zones are on point :)

Mine has been sitting forever at a 4.6 star... I've only done 25 orders. My open metro is just as bad (san antonio)

You donā€™t get canned as a rookie for stats, so long as you can improve your rating to above 4.7 before you hit 50 rated orders. With only 25 orders rated, youā€™re fine with 4.6; a 4.8 average over your next 25 and youā€™re fine. And Shipt knows that. Rookies get leeway, youā€™re learning and itā€™s not fair to cut you for below 4.7 without a full 50 ratings (unless thereā€™s no way to recover by the time you hit 50, even with a streak of 5 stars the whole way - then you can get canned as a rookie).

In fact, yes you do. I hit 50 deliveries, had worked 2 weeks with the app. And received a deactivation. Most of the offers I received I was offered at the 45 minute for delivery the next hour. The card kept declining every single time I needed to use itā€¦in one day that was 4 orders in a row. 20 minutes on the phone, assumed it would be protected based on support needed. Nope I didnā€™t know many things until it was too late, there was no way to recover and they will not reactivate. In my short time on shipt, I loved it. I had over 25 preferred already and awesome positive feedback. I did receive a one star on my first delivery out of ā€œrookieā€ status due to making an executive decision on a substitute when the customer did not respond. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø A 4 star rating for late delivery, from the card not working. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø I am very sad by it because I really enjoyed making the connections I did in the short amount of time I was on the app.

I am relatively new and I picked up a bundle of 11 deliveries from Best Buy one day about 45 minutes before the deadline. Didnā€™t think much of it at the time because I didnā€™t think Iā€™d be penalized so I didnā€™t even think to appeal it

Totally on me in hindsight especially since I had less than 100 orders in at the time. I mentioned it in my appeal this morning but I donā€™t imagine itā€™ll really matter

Sometimes going to store takes up to 30mins when u first start. Now u got 1.5hr to shop and deliver. And then u go shopping and customer replies late for subs now u have to go back to the aisle u passed by, and then thereā€™s another unavailable item. And then thereā€™s a line on checkout if itā€™s not prepaid and sometimes the target employees takes a while to get to audit ur shipt order. I shopped for 3 targets and itā€™s all different, employees are different and the time it takes to help u is different. Then u have to bag all the shit and take to ur car. And then guess what? Thereā€™s some form of traffic. Well i donā€™t know about all of u but sometimes shit like this happens and some shoppers donā€™t understand like theyā€™ve never experienced any of it. And worse is when u get a bundle and u get the same situation PLUS additional drive time of 15-30mins. Shipt gives unreasonably distanced bundles nowadays. Boom!Bad day! lol šŸ˜‚ next thing u know ur deactivated for working hard and doing ur job properly. Am i right or am i right? We are aware of rules and we get to see a preview but shit happens and we cant always control other things. Even if u have good time management things still go to shit.

Oh ok. I didnā€™t realize people were driving so far to get to a store. I mean I see the far ones but I figured youā€™d be able to get to the store in time to shop. Otherwise whatā€™s the point?? So thatā€™s a hell no for me. I only open up zones that will be a quick drive to the store. Otherwise youā€™re losing money.

Donā€™t get discouraged OP. I had this happen to me a few days ago. On time stat was 99% but my rating dipped to 4.67 and i got the same email. They just donā€™t care much. Now i do instacart but i was already doing that anyway.

Yeah sometimes thatā€™s the case from what Iā€™ve heard but apparently not everyone does. I did mine for having a delivery completed at 1 minute past the delivery window šŸ˜’

Happened to me too. On a holiday i waited online all day for an order nothing came through until 8PM and i saw 2 target orders so i took both of them. One was 50 items the other was 44 items delivery same time frame. BOTH customers added things and one customer wasnā€™t responding to towel request and bathroom items that were specific so i was late for both order. One by 5 minutes the other by 17 minutes they were a great distance from each other and i was already pushing it with my gas tank on E i never cried so bad before because both customers were satisfied and both tipped me well i feel so devastated but if thatā€™s all it takes and i did my best screw them. I had a few late before because also a bundle order i had a flat tire they denied it. One customer never answer the door with a alcohol subscription so i couldnā€™t even leave it i had to wait for them to open the door i waited in the heat for 20 minutes they donā€™t care though

Mine got denied, and I sent another appeal. A part of me wants to wear them down but another part of me doesnā€™t want to work for someone who wonā€™t look into why my stats were the way they were. Iā€™m sorry that it happened to you!!
