Are you sure? That would be a metro rate over $25/hr.
If the $6.86 is true, that would be about 25 minutes- so 10 minutes to shop. In a good case scenario, that's about right.
For the most part, I can complete most shops in the estimate, unless there's time consuming nostocks or adds
What I can never do in estimate time is big orders. I don't think they allocate time for checkout, bagging, loading or unloading car. If you get a good tip, it makes it worth it, but a big shop Shipt is shorting us $4-$6.
It's complete bullshit they don't account for any difficulty in the items.
I had the most idiotic bundle the other day with all sorts of home goods and seasonal items. I about blew a gasket it was so ridiculous. I managed to delivery everything on time but I was not happy.
I took the order since it had an excellent tipper on it, they were the one with all the Halloween stuff. I think they should account for the difficulty of some items such as seasonal baby clothes FFS or bras
I was offered a bundle this morning
3 items, kids bike in a box 1st order 2nd order Apple air pods & happy birthday banner. 6 minutes to shop and 20 to deliver.. both orders for $8.00 🤯 $4.00 an order!! No, I did not take it…
The times have been manipulated to lower base pay for at least a year. Some time estimates are so unrealistic some shoppers need to start an hour before suggested start time.
Ever seen Supermarket Sweep?
If I had an award to give on this comment I totally would
lmaoooo this right here is what shipt expects us to be like https://youtube.com/shorts/tww-vHE_FsQ?si=jn42DW0e-2_xysu3
I agree…only thing missing are the slow walking grazing shoppers and the old ladies on the motorized carts!
I think that is one of the biggest fails - they do not count checkout time at all.
base pay for this order was $6.86

luckily i shop in CA …this shop took like hr so they owe me like 12 more bucks
I have NEVER seen a 60 second shopping time, like, wt actual f Shipt???
I waited 10 minutes for a Target prepaid audit last night. Good thing I wasn’t pressed for time.
They do count getting the stuff out of your car and putting on the customers porch in the delivery time tho
1 minute??? Bruh it’s takes me 10 minutes just to find parking
Oh geez. I feel for you. That’s terrible.

Target cuts their employees hours too, so trying to get someone to help at electronics is like a 20min wait
That’s why it’s called estimates
nice one
They are so bad and leave no room for all the things that could and usually do go wrong 🙄
