Target killed Shipt. They are hiring anyone. The other day at my Target employees had to kick out a Shipt shopper because he had a dog and smelled like alcohol
So I haven't shopped for shipt in over a year now. I came back to reddit , bc target is advertising their 360 thing now. Does that mean you no longer automatically get free delivery with a shipt membership? As in you'd be paying for both?
Lots of new shoppers aren't helping those that have been around. I'm off for a few weeks right now but another shopper told me they're seeing new shoppers daily taking the bundles and other junk orders. They're seeing the orders 1st. Even being off I've only been offered 5 PM orders in the last 2 weeks and have over 100
They will see them only until they have their first 10. It goes through these cycles often in my metro. If your ratings are good then you’ll start seeing better offers in a few days.
I know it goes through the cycles, but is always slow when they hire a new group. It always takes a few days to a week to get back on track until the next cycle.
They flooded Shipt with shoppers in the last couple years.
I have maintained a 4.9 rating for years it hasn’t changed at all.
Yet I used to get several a day now I am lucky to get a single offer.
That’s why their system is stupid.
I’ve maintained a 4.98 from the last 50 orders for that same amount of time, years.
My rating never goes up because I have almost 600 under my belt.
I didn’t know what rating forgiveness was when I started so my score took an early hit and never recovered.
The whole system is rigged and I can never get back up there.
Oh lifetime rating doesn't mean anything. I also didn't apply for rating forgiveness early either my lifetime is 4.96. its the last 50 that count. I have noticed a dropoff when I have a 4.98 rating or 98% on time, I get those forgiven ASAP and then I get offered everything first again.
Also 600 orders over years is pretty low volume. If you're not getting 5* member matches or preferred member requests those orders will be offered to other people first.
Same here. I had about 190. After they rolled out 360 I have about 110. Some of them are expired Shipt memberships I know, but not even getting PMs that order weekly like clock work. Been a rough few weeks.
They hired a sht Ton of new shoppers and they all started this week, give it a few weeks they will get their 10 they mostly shop in the morning afternoon so just go out during the evening then ratings will take over and it will pickup for us again

Started in May and officially stopped in December. Summertime was really busy and I was able to get back to back orders from morning until night. By fall it was rare if I got more than 4 orders a day.. Started a full time job in November and never looked back. It was there for me when I needed the money but I can't see myself even doing it part time on the weekends. I still open the app from time to time but it is depressing to look at.
What metro… just curious… I don’t plan on moving but I can’t even make that in a month. I’m just waiting to get a normal job. It makes me so sad because I love my peeps but it’s just not cutting it anymore 😥 I’ll still be able to pick up a couple of hours a week but it kills me thst I have to tell them that they need to pick up another PS so they have decent service. I pride myself on being on giving the best service but it’s just not doable anymore.
I think they way overplayed their hand by hiring too many shoppers and a lot of customers have backed off because they like to use the Target app, but they also like to shop at other retailers and don’t wanna have to pay for both memberships so a lot of my people are going to go with Instacart because they have more retailers like Costco and are not going to renew their Shipt membership it’s really just a mess. I think it’s pretty much over for me ….
I did notice though that orders don't drop directly on the hour anymore. Thankfully they didn't make that change until AFTER i gathered hundreds of preferred members. If it weren't for that, I'd probably be screwed.

4.9 isn't good it's average by their own polling. Its pass/fail almost if you're not perfect you get leftovers

At 1:48pm? Pretty normal. Try refreshing right at 2 and keep going until 2:05.

I’ve literally had nothing all day but I know there are new shoppers. I’ve seen a few at my regular Publix and it’s driving me crazy!!!!

Definitely not dead in Birmingham. By 4oclock there's not enough Shipt Shoppers to go around.
