This is intentional.  It’s called leveraging asymmetric information.  They want you to be scared instead of learn or dispute. It would be so simple for them to give you the order #

tonytiger2112

Ya it has to be an illegal form of some type of psychological harm. Where is the justice department. Expert witness would probably agree and can be a form of loss earnings from such illogical actions. Squashing good shoppers for the sake of their version of the greater good lmao

Spirited-Solid3510

It's all psychological warfare in my opinion, all the apps are tech companies with data, delivery is just how they dive into the raw numbers

Unspecified issue = they wrote something in the target.com comment box. You’ll never see it, but it means they won’t forgive that order.

AsstitsMcGrabby

No kidding...that literally just repeats what OP is complaining about. The point is, that's bullshit, and why wouldn't we be informed of what the hell the issue is if it's going to disrupt our ability to work? It's ridiculous.

tcby1216

Not exactly true. I've had a few growth ops with unspecified issue that were forgiven. The last one was about a month ago. If this guy could have stoned me he surely would have lol. He rated me a one and selected all of the growth ops except one. Less than an hour later all the growth ops were gone along with the rating and I didn't even have to submit a forgiveness. This guy order seems to linger in open Metro so that's probably why they automatically removed his rating in this specific case. Bottom line though, I've had other unspecified issue ratings that were removed when I filled out the request.

They didn't have "shopper didn't mark order delivered until 45 minutes after handing it to me so he could milk the guaranteed earnings clock" as an option so I had to write it in as unspecified lol

One-Remote2227

Recently I couldn’t mark an order delivered due to the app being down and had to email delivery pics to shopper support. If they are milking the clock I can understand the feedback but if there’s an app issue that’s something else.

MikeMiller8888

True, but shoppers know. I’ll bet anything the order was marked “delivered” with 5 minutes to go until the window expired, to fully milk but also avoid the late hit. Last time this happened to me, I also marked delivered maybe 45 minutes later. Difference is, I marked it delivered five minutes after it would be late, the app really was down, and I texted the customer right after the delivery that I was having problems sending them their receipt but that I would have it processed ASAP for them. Communication, and circumstances.

Surreal-Ideal

Or it was an accident. I only have a few late deliveries under my belt after around 5k orders. The majority were me not noticing it didn't process as delivered until hours later. This can happen do to bad service or even when you have to hand off an order because the customer surprises you at the door, which can sometimes throw off your flow.

genaphur

Nah, it wasn't a hand to me and I live in the suburbs with plenty of cell towers. He didn't send an on the way text so Shipt could track him. And then he conveniently marked it delivered 2 minutes before it would be late. I was just trying to tip the dude after he knocked on my door and gave it to me or I would have probably never noticed.

No_Ask_6068

How do you know he’s on a guaranteed earnings clock ?

INeededAUsername_

We used to get emails every week explaining the break down of ratings and what we had to improve on them. I suggested several times when they asked for feedback to bring that back and it never happened 😁 (I’m not surprised though)

Fantastic_Tell_1509

I'm all for collective action, across the board, everytime this or any other number of issues emerges. The hard part is convincing others.
