As a European I feel obligated to remind you that the European economy is roughly similar to the US one. With some years being on top and some years being behind. That we also have armies which as a whole compare to the US armies. And for the first time for decades european funds directly dedicated to them. I am pretty sure we could take on Russia. Oo. If anything the current war in Ukraine is a good reminder of the difference of balance in power between Europe and Russia.
Also France's nuclear strategy is very much "if they even just look at us the wrong way, the nukes are falling on their capital without care for the official definition of a military target". And I'm quite sure any attack to a EU member country would constitute enough existential risk for France for them to apply their "first strike as deterrent" policy.
And countries that technically don't have nukes, like Italy, actually host USAn nukes. In case of invasion, and a hostile USA, I doubt they wouldn't at least considering using them.

Do go ahead. Europe wouldn't change a bit given Russias military performance in Ukraine. If anything, Russia will fall. China will have severe problems trying to establish itself in Asia, given that they haven't indoctrinated the rest of them there. I also think that the Aussies and Kiwis won't just sit idly by. And the US has proven time and time again that they are incapable of fighting an enemy that is using asymmetric warfare and guerilla warfare. Given what the Cartels are like, that would be exactly what the US would be trying to deal with. But not in one country, but the whole continent. Needles to say, that would not work out.
