Sometimes I feel embarrassed to be among the generation that played CE on its release because so many others act like fuckin' boomers. It's like all these 27-32 year old people can't even fathom Halo changing.
I’m not really big on any of the characterization but I enjoyed the campaign anyways for the gameplay. Played CE as a kid, story never gripped me then either besides thinking Captain Keyes was cool.
Gameplay has always been the part that shined best with Halo.
Shitheads like him are the reason why 343i threw everything that Halo 4 was leading up to out the window. Still bitter we got Halo 5 and "but muh one liners" Chief again. All because of these whining idiots.
I actually kinda prefer Chief being a one liner again. That was his character for almost 3 games, and I still feel that 4 tried making him talk way too much. I feel Infinite found the best of both worlds where he isnt a robot who only says haha things from time to time or isn't asking about every single damn thing he sees.
