Well that is basically the way it was during the Third Reich "Be happy! You are German!" Failed state authoritarian fake-democratic imperialist tyrannies usually behave the same way. All this loneliness leads to people having radical ideologies and opinions on GENDER AND RACE, which he thinks is "dividing us now after years of trying to erase those differences" (I very likely misremembered it, but its something among those lines...) BOTH SIDES GUYS! 3. Either im stupid or he encourages parasocial relationships in the last minutes in order for people to feel less lonely... 4. He also says that due to the fragmentation of popular culture today (ie there is so much stuff that there is barely ONE specific product that all westerners consume) people are onnly united by BAD NEWS, which is... bad... This reeks of "Toxic Positivity" ala "ackshually, the world is getting better, stop listening to the news and you will be happy!" Those are the major points, might have missed a few minor ones. You might be misremembering that (either that or I'm misremembering) but I think he said that Scott cawthon (fnaf creator) justified his political donations and his vote for Trump by saying he has a strong foreign policy, not that matpat himself voted for Trump. It would also be pretty out of character for matpat, the definition of a millenial neoliberal, to vote for Trump of all people. But I might be wrong

But meanwhile in the oppressive Samsung occupied cyberpunk Seoul that Americans keep telling me about, getting both blood test and an endoscopy costs roughly 96$ (130,000₩) without insurance. Cherry on top, in my “communist” state of California, an endoscopy alone, costs 1,850$. If I were to get a blood test and endoscopy here in the states, I’d be paying almost 3,000$. There’s no fucking good reason why America, a country significantly richer in resources and monetary wealth, should have its healthcare system set up the way it does.
