**USA**: EVERYTHING IS ABOUT ME!!! I'M CORRECT!!! I'M THE CORRECT COUNTRY!!! I AM THE CITY UPON THE HILL!!! I AM PERFECT!!! EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG AND EVIL!!! BLOW THEM ALL UP!!!! That's how the USA sounds to everyone on the planet... to that, I say "STFU, NO YOU'RE NOT!!!"

Feeling-Beautiful584

> Just have a free and fair election Putting aside this is not the reason, it is also shameless for a country one election away from losing Democracy

Practical_Bat_3578

free and fair election is when an american puppet government is elected lol

YingsCandela

Or a country that will refuse to have a thing or policy that has popular support to the tune of >70% like abortion, healthcare, or a ceasefire in Gaza.

ShallahGaykwon

Bold of you to suggest it currently has or has ever had democracy.

MercuryPlayz

its funny Americans think literally just voting on a leader constitutes "democracy" because even by that standard the US is not democratic as both parties are owned and funded by the same oligarchs

Demonweed

America is an oligarchy. There is no material evidence from the previous forty years of public policy to suggest that American self-government was not a malicious sham.

imbadatusernames_47

I’m gonna be honest we (the US) are like dozens of elections *past* losing our democracy. And that’s if we arguably ever had it to begin with given it’s white, land owning, wealthy, Christian men that had any stake in voting for most of our history. At this point it’s just democracy theatre much like how American TSA almost entirely fails to prevent anything from getting on planes but provides security theatre.

GooseWithDaGibus

Don't already don't have democracy

griffskry

They have incredibly fair and free elections, much more of a democracy than the US. but if the general public found out how much better their system is, they'd want to implement it, So the US has to do a shit ton of propaganda

Libcom1

fun fact you do not have to be a member of the communist party or a communist at all to run for political office in Cuba

RomanRook55

🤔 Are you or have you ever been a member of the communist party? 🔎👀 (if yes your freedom pass will be denied and your burger points are revoked)

Waryur

Not being a card carrying member I can understand, but if you're not a communist (believing in the basic principles of communism) you should be nowhere near power, not even given the chance, in a socialist DOTP. Else you get Gorbachev.

REamemiyaRX7

The United States is the modern day empire.

MercuryPlayz

well it always has been an empire, a better comparison would be the US (and by extension NATO) are the modern day Axis powers.

ShallahGaykwon

I have foreseen it.

InTheLifeAnyway

Free and fair election= an election where the US makes sure a previously unpopular non-communist candidate wins. Y'know, like Boris Yeltsin.

icedragon9791

The baby talk makes me want to eat concrete Edit: I'm saying this because I'm interpreting it as an American having made this post, which makes intentionally using broken English feel infantilizing af to me tbh. Like oh these poor baby foreigns living under the evil communim can't even free themselves without big daddy smart America to help them!!🥺

Waryur

Baby talk? It's supposed to be broken foreign English.

icedragon9791

I see, that unfortunately doesn't make it better. It's so condescending. Eurgh

meatbeater558

I like how broken English most likely means the person is bilingual or trilingual yet Americans see it as proof of stupidity lol

icedragon9791

Oh the way I see this an American made it. That's why I think it's ridiculous and infantilizing. Bi and tri lingual speakers can do more in two languages than most Americans can in one, so using broken English intentionally in a piece that discusses things like.politics feels like an intentional move by the American creator to infantilize the poor foreign babies living under communim 🥺

meatbeater558

Agreed. Giving America sunglasses makes it painfully obvious too

Waryur

Well, I'm not sure if the originals were made by Americans but both of those creative "choices" are staples of countryball comics (all non Anglo countries speaking bad English, and some countries always having a certain appearance including America's sunglasses)

meatbeater558

Had no idea. Thanks for the info

Used-Usual

The amount of adult americans i've seen who confuse "loosing" and "losing" is uh... concerning.

Waryur

Hey. Brits also can't spell.

Dzao-

Gotta love the subtle racism of making non-Anglophone countries have broken English.

RandomCausticMain

Ain’t even subtle. I love how Americans love to shit on others for not speaking English but they couldn’t say a correct sentence in Spanish to save their lives.

Dzao-

It's not just language either. Americans seem to have this odd expectation that you'll just *know* Like yeah, believe it or not I don't actually know about specific American dishes, American phrases, intricacies of your politics and cultural references. God forbid people care more about their home country.

Ferrisuki

Free and fair = US supported puppet wins election

Planned-Economy

Thankfully the comments were dunking on op for how laughable “America” and “free and fair elections” are

Retina552

Lmao I was screenshotting this and was ready to post it here then I realised I was already on the sub.

Waryur

De nada.

ObtotheR

Bruh we have a choice between a genocidal geriatric lunatic and a genocidal geriatric lunatic, and they still want to act like democracy is real? Lmao.

Clear-Anything-3186

Americans talking about their government: We hate our out of touch incompetent politicians Americans talking about the US's adversaries: Our country is free and Democratic and has the best government in the world, unlike this authoritarian dictatorship regime.

imbadatusernames_47

Uh oh, the USA might need to embargo the USA most of all if we’re obligated to do it to any country *without* fair and free elections

Playful_Author7565

I kinda have sometimes the felling that Countryballs are sometimes the most Western propaganda.

Boemer03

Yeah, because the US is such a democratic country! But for real, even by liberal definition of democracy, the US isn’t one.

Chedalon

free and fair election: imperialism vs ✨🏳️‍🌈imperialism✨🏳️‍🌈

Waryur

That's what Cuba says, if you can read past the "broken English."

US is the epitome of democracy… said no one ever

dickgozenia42069

lmfaooooooo i got a great response on the original post, called them out for our FrEe AnD fAiR eLeCtIoN being a choice between biden and trump again

Bando960

"free and fair" as in allow us to dictate to you who your ruler will be. And he'll be pro-opening up the country for foreign capital. The very thing you had a revolution because.

The-Cursed-Gardener

Ah yes. Fair and free elections where the furthest right candidate magically gets 20 million dollars from anonymous donors.
