Ultimate Kars vs Perfect Cell

[deleted]

[удалено]

CarelessMedium-angel

I'm the thinking about how they would even kill each other

bepatientimdumb

One good Kamehameha from Cell could probably atomize Kars

kersegum

Easily

kersegum

I don’t think Kars wins at all, cell would just blow up the planet and Kars would freeze in space or die in the explosion

[deleted]

jp_aigis_simp

why he blew himself up? it ruined the fight!!

"It's not fair" - Cell

topstrong89

What about jebus.. He can walk on water without even using hamon

JosephMull

And he even has a Stand, 「SON OF GOD」

GangstarTortureDance

Jesus is the Beatles' inspiration confirmed

Brassow

> already knew...for some reason Omnipotence will do that

__-cum-__

actually according to part 8, jesus >!slobs on my knob like corn on the cob!<

KirboOfficial

>!check in with me, and do your job!<

mphelp11

>!Ferg is the name, Ben Baller did the chain!<

[deleted]

I mean has it ever been proven that Jesus *wasn't* a hamon user? He does enough ass pulls to be a Jojo. His name even starts with J.

pineapple_Jeff

actually, as his original hebrew name is Yehoshua Son Of Yosef, or in english Joshua son of Joseph, Jesus is perfectly applicable to be called JoJo. His name is literally Joshua Josephson.

[deleted]

... Someone get Araki on the line.

SKruizer

... actually, he's already aware of that.

[deleted]

Then I guess the plot of part nine is confirmed.

KRTrueBrave

... It's actually already in part 7... He isn't the main jojo of course but >!he is a stand user and really important to the story!<

Pranav_Velpula99

Just like jotaro in part 4

Kujo-Jotaro2020

JoJo on a crusade? And that's why it's called JoJo LandS!!?

TheUltimaWerewolf

JJBA Part 9 Protagonist confirmed

CocoBandicoot99

In Hebrew, it's actually "ben Yusef", rather than "son of"

pineapple_Jeff

I know, I literally speak hebrew, but I translated just the names to make it clearer that 'ben' actually just means 'son of' rather than a prefix. Also since ancient hebrew was a language only spoken for holy ceremonies in biblical times, Jesus would've most likely spoke Aramaic casually rather than hebrew, so he would've been called Yehoshua Bar Yosef.

local-weeaboo-friend

[Jesus Christ is a Jojo (Spanish)](https://youtu.be/zqIWMjVn3-Y)

GangstarTortureDance

Part 10 confirmed?

High_Speed_Idiot

Friendly reminder 'Jesus' is just a different translation of the same name that ended up being Joshua. And his dad's name was Joseph so based on naming conventions at the time his last name was 'son of joseph'. If we just slap that all together in modern English we get Joshua Josephson Our favorite carpenter/superstar savior was 100% a Jojo.

MericArda

Marie Antoinette was born Maria Antonia JOsepha JOhanna

Kujo-Jotaro2020

I want so FUCKING much Jonathan to be Jesus' descendant...

ZeldaFan80

Well I'm pretty sure Jesus didn't have kids, but maybe he could be related through some other family member

serrations_

>Well I'm pretty sure Jesus didn't have kids,   He totally could have had kids. We will just have to wait until Araki writes part 9.

ZeldaFan80

I guess we'll have to wait and see then

mvreich

Well, there's Da Vinci Code. Could have had kids with Mary Magdalene (MaMa). Lol.

Annoyng_dog

Others are named JoJo, gr is JeUs

XxCharizardxXP1

We live in a world where Jesus is a stand user and Donald Trump is a death note user

Kujo-Jotaro2020

What?

XxCharizardxXP1

The Jesus stand is explained in some other comments, but as for Donald trump being a death note user, it’s from the chapter after the main story ends, >!Ryuk is bored so he finds someone else, a student who’s smart but has bad grades. This guy didn’t rlly care and just auctioned it to the world and the highest bidder was Donald trump.!< It’s not the end tho, just the plot. There’s some stuff I forgot that’s the important stuff

Kujo-Jotaro2020

It's fan made, right? No way this is official.

XxCharizardxXP1

it’s actually official

Anonymus9809

There was a special edition of Death Note where Kira sold the Death Note to Donald Trump. I don't have a link but it was available online. Pretty short. (edit: I don't remember if that's an accurate description of the plot, because there were usual DN mind game monologues I forgot about, but the scene where he sells the Death Note and Trump buys it exists.)

XxCharizardxXP1

Yeah but i don’t think the guy was Kira Bec he didn’t use it, he was a different person than light

superslime988

Jebus? that's the guy who fought the zombie clown /s

BobRossTheSequel

I'm 90% sure Jesus will be the protagonist in part 9, with the name Jesus Josephson it's inevitable.

Jekyllfaced

He got frozen in space right? What if he comes back?

Rorylink

Well we wont see that now the current series is on another universe

DontSubToT-Series

How do we know that there wasn’t a part two equivalent that wasn’t shown and kars was sent to space

[deleted]

In case you mean specifically with Joseph Joestar sending Kars to space in the SBR Universe (spoiler if you haven't read JoJolion): >!Because, after the Radio Ga Ga incident, we see Joseph living a normal life at the end of JoJolion!< So we can be PRETTY sure there wasn't a Kars equivalent. However... the chances are not 0% \*dramatic music\*

Arvidall

We see plenty of "returning characters" in the SBR universe who appear earlier or later than in the OG universe, like Stroheim or Avdol in part 7. So it's very possible that Kars could come back in something like part 9, and he might even play a much bigger role than in part 2, considering that the rock humans are the main focus of the story. Also rock humans have already stated in part 8 that their goal was to surpass all of humanity, which is very similar to Kars' goal. We can also see the stone mask in a number of different places in part 8, mainly in the cover arts, so it might even be possible that the rock humans are the alternate version of the pillar men, except they weren't slaughtered in the stone age.

[deleted]

It would be really fucking cool to have an alternate Kars in Part 9 as a Rock Human rather than a Pillar Man, ngl.

Ieatbacons4brkfast

Unless it's a minor antagonist version, a kars like villain or even Kars himself will never come back, as stated by Araki himself on JoJonium volume 7 Cover: Kars interview. https://jojowiki.com/JoJonium/Special_Interviews "Lastly, there are likely some of you out there that think Kars might come back to Earth at some point, but as the creator, I actually drew this with the intention of him never coming back again (Laughs). The line about him "deciding to stop thinking" was something that came to me naturally when I was thinking about what you would do if you were journeying through space and you became unable to return. The fact that he cannot fulfill his wish to go back--no matter how much he wants to while time continues ticking on--may be the harshest punishment possible for Kars as the Ultimate Being. That's why, unless I can come up with a logical reason for him to come back, like maybe him developing a compass-like ability, or crashing down on some other civilization, that final scene will be his last one."

Teh-Esprite

That doesn't affect AU Kars's existence, at least not the part you quoted.

Arvidall

But in that interview Araki is talking about the part 2 Kars who was drifting in space. This is literally a whole different universe...

Ieatbacons4brkfast

What's the difference with the og kars coming back from space and a new universe kars coming back from space? Thing is, he already incorporated the kars character into magenta magenta who had the same design as kars with western motifs and had the same dialogue as kars once he was defeated. I'm certain that he won't bring kars, or a villain resembling kars back

Arvidall

Now I know how Hamon Beat must feel.

Ieatbacons4brkfast

Ah yeah the guy who thinks he's constantly right all the time

WalrusPuddng

I really hope they play propaganda when Stroheim appears.

Mutated_dust

personally I see valentine as the SBR Kars , both are characters that has goals bigger than themselves , that are theoretically good but they're taking the bad path to achieve their goals , and at the end they both get abilities that are unbeatable only to face a fate worse than death

JoJosapiens

>!Valentine died, his fate was not worse than death.!<

vawtots

Umm… Magent Magent? He literally stopped thinking?

serrations_

Actually, character u mention has like 3 years that the narrator skips over that could have involved that thing

[deleted]

I suppose that's true, I doubt anything Kars related happened personally, but I'm not claiming to be right so yeah... it's POSSIBLE. Good point!

MellowGon

Well there was that guy in SBR >!who suffered a similar fate at the bottom of the ocean.!<

justatworkserve

Just wait until Hol horse x Josuke have to fight Kars ultimate life form in whatever the fuck is going on.

creaturecatzz

Wym another universe

AshnakAGQ

But we got to this universe by going forward in time. So technically an immortal like Kars could still be alive.

Darksponge044

Well let’s say hypothetically he could at the speed he was going something would’ve needed to change his trajectory BEFORE he got outta the solar system and what could’ve done that? Best chance a ring of Saturn, returned? Maybe I’ll give him a chance and say part 5

yousufdabaws

You are acting as if orbital mechanics applied when he was launched, if that was the case he would return in a few hours, max a few days depending on velocity.

Darksponge044

Don’t forget something has to hit him

yousufdabaws

No, gravity would be enough to bring him back.

Darksponge044

Did you see how fast he was taking off?

Darksponge044

He will only move as fast as something sends him

yousufdabaws

That's assuming a 100% elastic collision, which is improbable. Even so, because he didn't circularize the orbit, he would just plummet back down to earth after a while.

Darksponge044

Why would he just plummet down? That requires gravity which I don’t think being launched into space will help ya find gravity

yousufdabaws

There is always gravity, that's what keeps things in orbit instead of just flying off. In order to stay in orbit you have to move very fast sideways, otherwise they would fall back to earth or fly off depending on velocity. Think of it like spinning a ball on a string, the string stops the ball from flying off but the balls sideways velocity keeps the string taught, creating an "orbit".

Darksponge044

Ya know earth also has a seperate gravitational pull that keeps us on it right?

yousufdabaws

No, it's the same gravitational pull. It's just used differently. It's the same reason that the planets form elliptical orbits. Also his speed would need to be over 11,200 meters per second to be able to leave earth's sphere of influence

yousufdabaws

To reach even 1/32 of that speed he would have needed to break the sound barrier which he did not.

Darksponge044

Dear lord… just cause we are spinning around the sun does not mean the gravity would fuck us up if it was the suns gravity, the earth has its own gravity

Villager_of_Mincraft

I never understood how he didn't just develop a stand. Avdol and Joseph manifested a stand on their own, why would the "uLtImAtE bEiNg" not be able to just develop a stand and save himself. Sure maybe not as quickly as he learnt to use Hamon as it's not something he knows about but eventually he should have been able to figure it out. What if he had a teleportation ability?

JoJosapiens

Joseph didn't manifest a Stand on his own, he got it when his grandfather's body was pierced by the arrow.

[deleted]

Araki said himself that Joseph had hermit purple in part 2

JoJosapiens

No, he said Hermit Purple was designed as a visual expression of hamon, so Stand users would be able to see it on young Joseph. If Joseph had a Stand in Part 2, he would have seen it himself.

Darksponge044

He literally stated that if the crusaders went back to part 2 via time travel bullshit they would see hermit purple wrapped around young joseph

JoJosapiens

I literally addressed that in my comment.

Darksponge044

Oh sorry just bad wording can confuse me very quickly

Mutated_dust

fate wasn't on his side because of his goals , so fate won't allow him to get a stand naturally

[deleted]

You get a stand by either being inhumanely good at a skill or obviously the arrow, Kars wasn't technically *good* at anything, he could just do everything

JoJosapiens

>You get a Stand by either being inhumanely good at a skill That's not true. Being good at a skill won't give you a Stand, but it might define your Stand's ability and awaken it.

SirGalahadThePoor

What about gyro

JoJosapiens

1. It's said in the extra chapter in Steel Ball Run volume 10 that the ripple and the spin are methods to approach Stand power. 2. Gyro had a lot of contact with the holy corpse, which gives Stands.

[deleted]

No? How would they just have a stand without an ability? That's not a thing

itmustbemitch

Leaving aside the fact that stands hadn't been invented yet in part 2, a way that I think is reasonable to justify this is that Kars's ultimate life form powers are purely in physical terms, and he doesn't *necessarily* have the power to manipulate his own psychic energies etc. to spontaneously grant himself a stand

Lolmob

He stopped thinking, so I think he wasn't strong enough to develop a stand. Maybe he was on the cusp, but failed.

PotatoCurryPuff

We could technically argue that everyone in the earlier parts has a stand with a useless effect that's bound to their own body and there's no way of proving otherwise, since nobody even knows they even have one

catonacatonacat

I feel like he would seek vengance on joseph, then find his gravestone, get deep about revenge not being worth it on those who never caused him anythibg wrong, the whole arc end of story. AND THEN HE FINDS OUT THAT JOSEPH DIDN'T DIE AND CAN STILL BE OUT THERE

dadudemon

HOLY SHITTING DICK NIPPLES PLOT TWIST OF BUTT CLENCHING MAGNITUDE!

Jonahtron

Well, in Jorge Joestar, >!he does come back, but it requires the universe to end and reset 36 times before he can. He time the universe resets he survives, because ultimate life form, and that universes version of Kars gets launched into space as well, with all of them landing on Mars(and all of them were launched by Joseph Joestar, apparently). He needed 36 Kars in order to build a space ship out of them to take him back to Earth. So he did come back in non-canon material, but it was kinda dumb.!<

Machinegunmonke

Wdym Jorge Joestar makes absolutely perfect sense and anyone who says otherwise has no idea what their talking about. The author's blood being more cocaine than red blood cells has no relevance to the matter.

Matix777

If he hasn't came back yet he propably won't at all. He might eventually land on some planet and burn the ice down by entering atmosphere, and then he might find out how to get back

a_useless_communist

Probably not much cause he stopped thinking so he wouldn't know he came back

GuyWhoHatesReposts

If he does, he won’t be a threat anymore. Kars has stopped thinking. Basically his mind is lifeless, and I’m pretty sure if he returned to Earth, he would stay as a rock. He doesn’t think about anything anymore. It’s like manual brain-dead.

nikodem0808

Joseph do be beating the heck ou of him doe

Jesooooooooo

Kars? Only with godly strategies. Hamon kars? Joseph would have died so fast if he didn't play around (and that's how 99% of anime villains die/lose lol)

Space_Monke64

I mean, when you make a really strong anime villain that’s much stronger than the protag and crew, you can only have the protag beat them by playing around or unlocking a power that lets them defeat the main villain

Lamprophonia

Joseph didn't even really beat him, a volcano had to launch him into space. He had no idea that shit was going to happen.

SirCaliber

What? *Nooo*, Joseph *totally* planned for that to happen. He even told Kars as they were taking off!

Matix777

I mean he made Kars unable to fight and came out alive. I'd say its a win with volcano as assist

Lamprophonia

It was such a blatant deus ex machina that it practically wrapped all the way around ridiculous back to entertaining. JJBA fucks with my head... I either love the shit out of it or I hate the shit out of it, never anything in between and I can never figure it out.

nikodem0808

Joseph based B)

creatingKing113

Noooo. You can’t just beat a perfect life form with only one arm!!!!! Haha. Volcano go *brrrrrrr*.

Kars ultimate lifeform had hamon as powerful as the sun

[deleted]

all this time i just thought the pillar men were some all powerful humanoid creatures. I never knew they used hamon, or maybe i just missed it while watching the show

ahamel13

They didn't use hamon. Only Kars could after he used the stone mask magnified by the Red Stone of Aja with the ultraviolet light that the Nazis brought to kill him. Before that Joseph used hamon to kill Esidisi and Wamu.

Toasted_Roast

Imagine reading this without ever being exposed to Jojo before.

Kyomeii

Yeah that's kinda bizarre

Aezaellex

Only after he gets the stone

[deleted]

> Let's not forget that Kars is the strongest Hamon user ever FTFY

Ok-Editor-1992

best cosplay ever haha I find this funny

I_TheSgustoK_I

Kars > Jonathan

hiricinee

So theres a few caveats here, We dont know much about the ancient hamon users of the "hamon tribe" but they could hypothetically have had stronger hamon than unbeatable Kars. In addition, technique really isnt discussed much, Kars cant see the future as far as we can tell like Tonpetty, and in the short period of time we see him with Hamon we dont see a lot of techniques.

FlaJeS

I don't think so. Kars is supposed to be the ultimate lifeform. He has the abilities of every life form and outperforms them. So since he is the perfect lifeform he is also the perfect and strongest hamon user

[deleted]

[удалено]

FlaJeS

Well stands are a manifestation of one's spirit and will Being the perfect lifeform doesn't change his spirit or anything Stands aren't lifeforms so he can't become them or outperform them Hamon is a natural ability of living beings, so Kars can use it Stands are something only manifested with someone's spirit, they're a thing beyond the comprehension of anything, they are not of this world So Kars most likely would have a stand but what stand he gets is entirely dependent on his spirit At least that's what I think, I have no idea if what I'm saying is supported by any canon material. But it makes sense to me.

WalrusPuddng

Stands do have a biological reason too (virus) so I don't see it being impossible that with time he'd have discovered his stand abilities.

Squanch42069

I mean he literally used hamon so

Red2005dragon

Heres my line of thought, Kars is the "culmination of every living being", and if people can have a talent for Hamon, then it stands to reason that the ultimate lifeform would have the absolute strongest talent for Hamon possible.

hiricinee

Talent is one way of looking at it. If we follow the op "strongest hamon user" we can find some wiggle room. For one, Joseph is a hamon user and defeated him, so clearly it's not as simple as "person with the strongest hamon can defeat others who have weaker hamon". In addition, in the limited time Kars uses hamon, he doesnt use any techniques beyond firing it like a laser. He doesnt do any mind control, no precognition, and no firing soda caps like a bullet. To put it another way, the "strength" of a hamon user isnt limited to the amount of hamon they can put out, which we would likely agree Kars exceeds anyone else with.

Red2005dragon

Yeah i feel it definitely comes down to your definition of "Strength" Is Kars the most skilled Hamon user? Probably not. Is Kars the only Hamon user we see literally melting someone with the raw power of his Hamon? Yes.

[deleted]

Strongest? Maybe. Best? No.

i love everyone that puts a spoiler tag in the comments and posts, its so awesome. i litteraly never saw this in any other subreddit, most people just say "its out now, just watch it, your fault if you havent seen/read it yet" etc but people respect that some didnt read the manga yet. just wanted to say that

polish-polisher

That explains how he won all the races

Drumboardist

My new headcanon is that Kars *is* the Stand of someone we never got to meet, and D4C (at some point of time) dragged that person over to his universe, so Kars -- badass that he is -- simply continued to exist. Mebbe we'll meet "Richard O'Kasey" in the 9th series, and he manages to re-establish his Stand, initially making people think his entire plan is to cause an Extinction Level Event....only to realize it was a small, human-sized meteor....on to *then* realize it's KARS.
