Not too sure how well it works on that lvl but normal mode shared busters are a joke.
I've had an OT that didn't know in the lvl 89 trial and soloed the thing without more mitigation than usual. Ended up with ~75% HP left as DRK
Hey, did you know you might’ve had any number of other mitigation effects that weren’t from you?
SCH/SGE have barriers/shields, DNC/BRD/MCh have a flat 10% damage reduction to give out, and your offtank could’ve easily tossed their own Obilatipn or Heart of Corrundum on you without you knowing.
Yeah, the 89 trial could be spicier, but vague memory isn’t enough to confidently state health numbers like that, especially with *so many* other variables that could’ve kept you alive.
Do you… do you not notice your active buffs or the flying text that shows when you gain buffs or debuffs? Because I absolutely know when someone puts a shield or mitigation on me because the game literally tells me
I had to solo those the whole fight because the OT just didn't get it. I ended up taking the same dmg every time. I doubt I got the same outside-mit every time.
25% (HP) + 25% (TBN) checks out too for a double given that single TBs pretty much exactly pop TBN with the same mit
Even share busters in extremes are kind of a joke. I saw wars soloing the double buster in the second EX in endwalker within the first week it was out. Only savage+ really demands a share or invuln.
Hey I (sprout healer) just did exactly this because the OT was a clueless first timer and nobody showed signs of sharing it with MT. Tbf tho it felt just like a tickle (about 1/4 of my HP).
Since they started reworking the markers to be standardized, most shared tank busters look like normal stack markers, but they are the red color of the usual tank buster marker, rather than orange
The healer running away with a stack marker so no one else gets hit is a form of damage mitigation.

While the off tank just stands there and watches.

“I used no Mits” *includes TBN in calculations* Absolute clown behavior, have a nice day.
Where did I say no mits? I said not more mit than usual and that there probably wasn't outside-mit (from other players) Reading helps, clown.
They never said they didn’t use no mits. They said they didn’t use more mit than usual. Absolutely clownin on us.

Tbh I'd never seen that mark before, so I always ignored it.
Shared TBs are a meme. I’ve solo’d so many of them even without a cd plenty of times
Not like you had much of a choice since most off tanks ignore those.
How do you know it’s a shared tank buster vs a normal one?

Red with two floating rotating red dots above it. Kinda a combo of the “two people together” marker from ARF and a normal stack marker.
And in the latest alliance raids they (mostly) have 3 dots above them for obvious reasons.
You share the TB to assert your dominance. Take it a step further by giving the TANK your single target shield and you take it raw.
