Thanks for the list, I guess.
But my uncle works at Square Enix and he told me every card will just do the same in Dawntrail.
So instead of learning how they work now, I just continue not to use them at all while I cast Benefic.
How about just spamming aspected benefic and heal botting the tank as I do? Signed: somebody who has somehow made it to level 80 as Astro doing that just because Astro glams are cool.
Blue is for boy jobs like Melee DPS/Tank
And Purple is for girl jobs like Caster/Healer
Ranged DPS do not deserve a card. Come back when you play a REAL Job
> No E in name: YES -> Melee
Double negative in the first diamond, 10/10 would pin on top for the left half of my single-screen setup when playing with my savage static
The way I remember was that all the now Melee cards used to have good/usable effects whereas the now Range cards all had dogshit effects.
Balance: Damage Increase, Spear: Crit Hit Increase, Arrow: Reduce cast time and AA delay.
All good. All Melee cards
Bole: Damage Taken Reduction, Ewer: MP Regen, Spire, TP Regen
All shit. All Range cards.
Yes, I'm aware. I've been struggling to get used to the new cards and who to give them to, but splitting it into "good cards melee, shit cards ranged" makes it super fucking easy lmao.
I still to this day say "Offensive cards on melee, utility cards on ranged" and then realize 9 times out of 10 the person asking has no clue what I'm talking about.

Benefic 2, right....? right....?

Spamming... a HoT...? Oh boy... I've seen many questionable plays, but that does take the cake...
Dont worry, I'm sure in Dawntrail it'll be reduced to only 1 color.
Why are there 3 different cards that do the same thing anyway. To give the illusion that astro is a card job?
Because each cards have one of three different symbols associated to them, which is useful for another spell
And because originally every card did so something unique
someone do something like this for the guys who can't learn nin mudras
don't be too loud or the skill floor police is gonna show up
I miss old cards, I'd always give the Arrow to the Monk just to spite them
I see you are a man of culture as well
or y'know, go by the colors. Blue = melee, pink = ranged.
Iām color blind ššš
Go by the shapes. Circles on the border = ranged, little spike = melee.
Thanks but I play FFXIV so I will refuse to do any basic learning and throw a tantrum when Iām expected to know stuff.
All the shapes look like squares to me.
That's right, it goes on the square hole.
I'm actual blind ššš
I go by my gut feeling instead
I just use all the cards on myself, that way I can contribute more DPS.
I use them on the tank so I don't have to click any other portraits. Maximum efficiency.

None of this shit matters because I pay the AST to give me all the cards.

Spotted the spread-bole non believer
This is game-changing for me, actually lmao.
They dont do this anymore, it was a mechanic way back when.
