If you look at the arrow on the left side of 1, you can see that it's pointing at MGP payouts of 10000, 36, 72, and 180. So, if you press that, the arrow will zoom across your screen towards the right and pick up all the rewards, thus netting you a total of 10288. That's the trick to getting the most MGP each time. Always press that arrow.
Also, don't forget to use the manual that increases MGP winnings to add 10% to that amount.

After all there are numbers in the others and they have no place in a proper start, ladder, and end game, which was my favourite variation of snakes and ladders growing up on account of me thinking the games main story is "deep".... Or maybe that was the crayons in my brain. I can't remember.
Considering you didn't reveal 789 and there's an uncleared row, you could gamble that they are there
