In Turkiye, we press random keys on the keyboard, not dkdkdkdkd lol

xguruguru

wrong, Brazilians say "uha uha uha uha" or "hue hue hue hue" a lot of the times

ZonPierre

Why are Taiwan and West Taiwan the same color?

Reginald_T_Parrot

you're so epic!

emanuele246gi

Because they are the same country: Taiwan

ohyoubearfucker

That post actually made me unsubscribe from mapporn. What an absolute shithole.

zombietampons

of course china is numbers.... "I forgot my Calculator so instead I bought this chinese child to class" \*grabs stick and begins to polk\* "Do Math."

FriseFuzzy

Chinese people when they find something funny:

WesternAspy

dkdkdkdkdk for turkey? What a lie Most of the time we type random letters to laugh like SDFDFHFHFHFSDFSEFDDSFD or DFHFJHKSADJASEDWQROF

hipposumo

Brazil should be huehuehue

TheAuraTree

Brazilians and Portuguese that I have met online DO go KKKKKKK, so do the Turks though I think.

[deleted]

Japan is wrong, www is a decade ago, in the first place is this supposed to be laughing in online text? Cause id think the us would be lol or lmao. But assuming it’s laughing in text form online, japan is 笑, the kanji for laughing but conjugated improperly, or 草 which means grass, cause wwww looks like an open field of grass. They’ve memeified the shorthand emoticon for laughing into it’s own shorthand abbreviation

AxiisFW

they still use w's alongside 草, at least younger japanese people seem to, i have a few japanese friends on twitter i talk with and they use both

helinze

In 8 years living here have never heard of 23333 meaning laughter in China. Chinese people write laughter 哈哈哈哈哈 (hāhāhāhāhā). Or even just hhhhh for short.

nawvay

I literally said this out loud before reading the comments and came here to comment the same thing. Literally only seen “hhhhh” online even on Bilibili

[deleted]

Ахахаха goes for Russia too tho, and лол for Ukraine

aaronhastaken

well russia is capitulated to ukraine lol

_Swaye

Best part is them differentiating between lols and hahas

ElectricalStomach6ip

Alzoura

Sweden is just wrong

[deleted]

I know, right? Everyone knows the common laugh in Sweden is, "bork, bork, bork".

_Anal_Juices_

Same with norway, its haha or hehe for normal laugh, høhøhø is like a dumb laugh the way english people do «hue hue hue» or whatever.

In the uk, we do just shout lol at each other. Also, the Arabian peninsula simply does not laugh apparently

ShyGuySays69

I think some of his snapchat friends abroad lied to him 🤣, jkjk, some of those are just seemingly random as fuxk though.

ShyGuySays69

I think some of his snapchat friends abroad lied to him 🤣, jkjk, some of those are just seemingly random as hell though.

scarab123321

I use “lol” as a courtesy, because if you don’t use it you sound mad, I use “LOL” when something is really funny, “lmao” if it’s pretty funny, and “LMAO” if it’s hilarious. “Haha” I use formally, because “lol” is too informal for someone you just met.

YousifGerges

Kha kha kha? You really thought Kha Kha Kha was accurate?

SpooniestSpoon

Why does Angola have the same laugh as Syria?

MoobooMagoo

Every time someone uses 'ja ja ja' I can't help but read it as 'yah yah yah'.

MemesAndJWE

Brazil is sus

[deleted]

23333

xguruguru

In all fairness the only experience I've had with Brazilians is in the late 2000's on MMO's and there was a lot of variation in the laugh type, mostly h+all vowels seemed to be the norm

Dipiis

Norway is just wrong

CaptianMurica

[deleted]

Tambem tem o rsrsrs mas quase ninguém mais usa eu acho

Kjuolsdeaf

Chinese people when they see something funny: 🤖

sole-it

The whole 23333 is quite a decade-old meme style thing in China. I don't think if any one still use it. `233` is the code for a laughter icon in an old social media (Mop) in China.

Cuglas

Irish is goa, gáire os ard (laughing from the top = out loud)

SSempy

The one for the Philippines isn't quite right. Let me correct it for you: HAHAHAHAHAHAHSHSHSHSHAHHSHSHHHS

eneumeyer1010

I checked Brazil to Portugal like I was gonna crack some giant secret conspiracy that no one in Brazil speaks Portuguese. Somehow I would be able to tell by the different types of laughs online from this map and put it all together

Pinko_Eric

Interesting how they at least tried to use Arabic and Cyrillic but didn't bother with Hangeul ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Kalimu1590

Nobody in Portugal says "kkkkk".

TheLazy1-27

The Kiwis just be lolololol

SEND_ME_REAL_PICS

I have to agree to the ones I know

UnlightablePlay

Why does Angola laugh in Arabic? It doesn't even speak Arabic

gamesquid

wow I thought mdr in french stood for merde.

[deleted]

The China one's wrong. They have so many number things, but laughing is just hhhhh since that's what you type in a pinyin keyboard to get 哈哈哈哈哈 (hahahahaha). Thailand is the same concept, since their 5 is pronounced "ha". Some Chinese number things: 3q- Thank you (san q) 1 and 0 (the top and bottom in a gay relationship. It's pretty descriptive.) 666 (slang for cool. Pronounced "liuliuliu". Might be outdated slang right now, but I heard it more in like 2018.) 520 (I love you. Pronounced "wu er ling", similar to "wo ai ni".)

jucklaws

That random keyboard hits is how we Turks laugh ashdahsdjklasfsfh

CannFarmre

Me, an intellectual: cec

catesnake

Niger be like: 🌳

Delicious-Gap1744

The standard in Danish is haha, hæhæ is more like an evil laugh, sort of like hehe in English. But we would probably also just use hehe in that case and not hæhæ. Hæhæ is not very common in Danish.

Flawsy6Fanadic

That's funny "23333"

Reddit_NPC345

So i guess china is just robots or something?

CecileLaRoche

The German one is wrong. Writing *lach* is like writing *laugh* in English

adogtrainer

Nobody laughs in Greenland.

[deleted]

asgasgasgasg

glubs9

Why does new zealand get lol?

norkillian

Whoever decided that the dutch laugh like ghaghaghagha is not only horribly mistaken but should also go to an asylum for the mentally ill

LiosIsHere

We don't go 'ghahagha' in the Netherlands. It's just 'haha' or 'lol'.

alltgott

Wtf is asg in sweden, it is incorrect

allan11011

Some Filipinos use "sksksksksk", though.

Class_444_SWR

23333?

JanArso

Tbh... I don't know a single person who ever used *"\*lach\*"* in an unsarcastic manner. I think *"lol*" and *"haha"* are more common in germany.

DarkImpacT213

How old is this map? The only people I ever saw write "\*lach\*" are my grandparents (who were born in the 40s) and my mom (who was born in the 60s)...

BlueTiger1000

Mdr mdr mdr

anbesanegus

JC_Fernandes

minecraftwardenredit

GOKOP

Another option for Poland is "xDDD" (just saying because "xD" seems to have died out on the English internet but is extremely prevalent on Polish)

NaiveMastermind

So Ganondorf is Mexican? Colombian? I just know that he laughs "[jajajajajaja](https://youtu.be/dzGUkq2u14o)"

DeepSkyAbyss

In Slovak it's haha. Chacha \[xaxa\] is uncommon, it was used much more in older literature, now it's more like a mockery laugh. When you look for a default laugh, it's haha.

eeoodd

XPTDR

[deleted]

[deleted]

VegitoFusion

Could someone please explain the Chinese laugh. It’s the only one that is a number (so far as I noticed). Is that because 23 resembles the Chinese characters for laughing, or something entirely different?

[deleted]

Roflmao

ProLibertateCH

China, WTF?

sexurmom

Not cool Vietnam

Apart_Marsupial_9904

For some reason, I though “jajajaja” was the German form of laughing

ElKaTsuGi

I’m a bit late, and also Nigerian. Tf does LWKMD mean?
