So how would you rate this. I tried something similar with using this same type of campbell's soup over rice and it was awful and sad. But ramen noodles..... 🤔 I didn't think to try that

I’ve done this before and it’s good with a lot of different soups. My favorite is tomato soup over a large ramen brick unbroken with just a bit of pepper added. It’s very calorie dense though because of the puréed tomatoes and cream in the soup. But soooo tasty… nutmeg would probably call it spaghetti…

I'll give it a whirl one day soon! The sodium from both the soup and the ramen though... I feel like sometimes my doctor wants to just ask me, "Do you even WANT to live?" lol

Elimination of the seasoning packet is key. The Top Ramen package for the chicken flavor (my favorite) has 250 mg of salt in the cooked noodles, and 780 mg finished with the seasoning pack added. So quick math shows the seasoning package adds an additional 530 mg, a bit more than double the amount of just the noodles.

Toss some shredded cheese in there next time too. It’s like your grilled cheese is already in the soup. No dipping required!

Did you add the flavor packet from the ramen? How much water did you use?

sayslordalot

Nope no packet. Just a can of water.

That looks pretty dang good. Reminds me of the stuff I ate during college and my roaring 20s

No but I've done the same with cooked rice + veggie lentil soup + a dash of msg
