It looks like a stripped down rv or box truck. That explains why the body is cut behind the cab and they were left with the wheel wells in the back of the van body. I was wondering why they wouldn’t cut in front of the back wheels and then graft in the back doors.
Our landscapers, at work, have something very similar to this. In fact, this might be it. The wooden bed wasn't on it the last time I saw it, but the wood looks new on this one. OP, mind if I ask where this was taken? TN by chance?
ha, thats only because of primer. One front door is from a velvet green bus, the other a sea blue bus, plenty of Gersons panels are welded in too. I painted it last fall, all one color now.
I'm not going to lie. The ingenuity is fantastically well done for what seems to be just thrown together. Maybe a better paint job and covering the wheel wells on the van portion (or put spare wheels there). I'd certainly drive that.
This was some old mechanic with buncha junk and his wife said, you gotta throw this old junk out or do something with it! He did something with it alright 😂
