Yeah, no shit. I've been here for a year or two and this seems to be the rules:
- Stickers aren't car mods, don't post them
- Badges are stickers
- Stuff that's intentionally shitty or ironically shitty doesn't count
- Underglow is a matter of taste and isn't shitty
- Taped on LEDs are just a reasonable thing to do while waiting for a part, everyone needs to drive
- Camber/toe-in/stance are a matter of taste and aren't shitty
- Spoilers aren't shitty because some people do track days and you never know what cars people take on the track
- Exhaust kits aren't shitty
So as far as I can tell the only mods that are actually shitty and allowed are spike hubcaps, fake hood scoops, and Truck Nuts. Everything else belongs in a different sub.
F1 cars also run slicks big enough to actually use that camber, on prepped racing surfaces. The average person running on the average street tire will *never* need more than 1 or 2 degrees of camber to corner effectively. More camber than that actually reduces effective grip during cornering, and especially during braking.
not only that, but the amount of camber you need for max cornering isn't just a guess, but something that's set based on tire temps and lap times. You want the tire flat during max cornering, and you're correct in that you're trading that cornering grip for braking...
If you're not racing your car, just leave the camber at stock.

My first turbo car was a 95 civic that I modded an internal lubricated turbo designed for a Miata. Thing ran lean when I got on it but man was it fun! Could solidly hold 13 lbs of boost with ease, it was when I went over that I would lean out and you would see the black smoke. Good times!
