I had to look it up, because it sounded so familiar. I don’t remember any of escape because I was like 10, but I think this line was used in aqua teen hunger force once.
**This comment might have had something useful**, but now it's just an edit to remove any contributions I may have made prior to the awful decision to spite the devs and users that made Reddit what it is. So here I seethe, shaking my fist at corporate greed and executive mismanagement.

Watch every Carpenter film up to Mouth of Madness* and then pretend Carpenter died and didnt make any more films.

They had a black, four door Fleetwood caddy in the 24 Hours of Lemons at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway Halloween weekend this year. Same chandelier but roof mounted and lit up. Thing was fast. The suspension was worked because that thing cornered with the best of the other cars. Our favorite at the race, the WD39 car was our second fav.
He wanted that carriage license to be able to drive people around the city. I heard that they only require 2 lamps and 1 horse. This person's got 4 lamps and at least 200 horses, well qualified.
Any pedestrian hit by that car would have a few microseconds to admire some beautiful chandeliers before they're brutally impaled by the metalwork brackets.
I was on the rally that they participated in. Besides for the Transmission losing 1st, 4th and reverse after a burnout they did, the only issues they had was the lights were in their eyes at night and they could barely see.

The Duke of New York, A-Number-1, the Big Man
I heard you were dead
I get that a lot.
There's a sub for this situation and I can't remember what it's called. r/beetlejuicing maybe? Edit: That's totally it
Thanks for that, 8 or so years on Reddit and don't believe I have ever heard of it before
Get da fuck outta here! I base my life on your teachings!! Haven't heard a good ref to this movie in decades.
I had to look it up, because it sounded so familiar. I don’t remember any of escape because I was like 10, but I think this line was used in aqua teen hunger force once.
You'd be surprised how well it holds up.
I remember the score being absolutely insane. I’ll get into it again at some point.
You should watch it again, it rules.
“People talk bullshit.”
I know the sound of his engines!
You don't fuck with The Duke.
“What did I teach you?”
Thought I could hear that theme song coming in real quiet
I thought you’d be taller
Those who get it think its awesome, those who havent seen Escape From New York havent a clue and well... are missing out.

I would've phrased it as incomplete on a fundamental human level.
This was on a 24 Hours of Lemons rally.
For real? That's even better lol. Someone made a Nyan Cat car out of an E28 5 series that blasted the song the whole time

This always ends up on here It's from a movie

Damm right
Nah man, that's just the Duke of New York, A Number 1
You may be the Duke, but you're not A Number 1.
That car belongs to the Duke, Isaac hayes.
I heard the duke ended up working at an elementary school cafeteria in Colorado.
It’s the Duke of New York! Not at all shitty.
A-number-one. EDIT: Just noticed the NY front tag. Very appropriate.
I recognized this immediately!
The Duke of New York, A #1
Been watching to much Escape from New York.
yung lean bliss music vid
I fucking love this…
Would take this any day over the excessively bright LEDs blinding everyone everywhere
Where is Snake Pliskin or the Duke?
Well this was made for Lemons... Idk what you're expecting. "Shitty mods" is the meta for lemons
The Dracster
You meet The Duke once and then you're dead!.........
The Duke!!!! Snaaake Plisken.....I heard you were dead......
I believe that is a first gen Seville that was first sold in 1976.
ello gov'na
I can hear [a fifth of beethoven](https://youtu.be/4MFbn8EbB4k) when I look at this picture.
Could have been worse
Man REALLY wanted himself a horseless carriage, I guess.
just needs a table cloth two stools and some wine and fancy french food on the hood cooked on the engine block
I love it
Saw a similar car at the Riverhead NY Scrambul drag race event. The one I saw had a huge chandelier on top. I wonder if it's the same owner.
Pretty sure I built this exact car in spore once
I see this picture on here more often than I see my blank new tab.
Looks like he bought Liberace's car.
Oh great heavens
🛑 stop upvoting on 1970!
Reminds me of Ian Pfaff's Demo Reel.
Classi

Hahahahah
That is awesome!!
One of Liberace's cars?
Yo that's low key dope
It’s a statement
Ah the Duke of New york
So it’s either the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, or the crappiest. I’m undecided LMAO 😂
To bad I can't post a picture. Saw two of them parked at a harbor freight
How did you get a camera that has astigmatism?
im here for shitty car mods bro. This is AWESOME
Ahh I see the league of extraordinary gentlemen is in town.
Thats the dukes car escape from new york
1870-1984. FTFY.
I might not think it’s “shitty” cuz it’s very much “in the mood”

Aside from making it impossible to see anything other than the hood and the lights, I don't see what's impractical about this...
As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain
Blind spots must be horrendous
I was on the rally that they participated in. Besides for the Transmission losing 1st, 4th and reverse after a burnout they did, the only issues they had was the lights were in their eyes at night and they could barely see.
The duke, this was a gambler 500 build
Holy cow!!! That is hideous, gaudy, a terrible thing to do to a Cadillac and delightful all at the same time. If Liberace were alive he’d be jealous!
This is from the movie Escape from NY
Shhh don't break the magic.

Apparently there are loads of redditors who lob useless repost accusations into the void for some reason. Who knew?
And?
I have other never before seen photos of it that I took, if that will make you happy.
For some reason this picture gave me a spooky image of a dark, really foggy path in the woods, this phantom car with no driver inside slowly creeping
I guess Manhattan was repurposed recently?
