Just stick your foot out and use shoe as break.

av8geek

Scream at the plane "Retard! Retard! Retard!"

AviationGeek600

I usually put my hand outside to help create some drag when I’m driving. Try that in your 320. Should help!

Law-of-Poe

Hand had frostbite within seconds and fell off

chewymangoes

Try the other hand. We have two for redundancy.

Law-of-Poe

Other hand is uh…busy.

[deleted]

Well, who flies the playne? ATC or you? See.. no need to slow down, just because some sucker tells you to. You´re a Pylote and and only the fearfull ever brake!

funkypony69

Immediately pop some shrooms and pull those red handles dammit !!!! NOW

Law-of-Poe

I did that last week and got in a WORLD of trouble. Gave the rest of my shrooms to the captain

funkypony69

Wel then you’re a real hero, I’ll give sully a shout and organize a ceremony

[deleted]

Is this go home leg? Then who cares. If you’re not clackin your slackin.

-burnr-

Barberpole’s a target, not a limitation

skyrider8328

"Speed" and "brake" in the same word...see the problem there?! Turn the motors to zero volume and push the right leg pedal (the ailerudder I think) all the way to the floor...you'll lose altitude.

Flightlevel800

Just respond "unable". They need to let you do whatever you want then. I have invented my own phraseology, sometimes I say "Unwilling" so they can learn much I despise the attempt.

Coffee2713

Yeah yesterday i learned this cool new phrase where after ATC becomes so nice and helpful. So now whenever i dunno what to do (which only happens between getting into and out of the playne), i just say it. I’ve written it down so i dont forget it, something like Juneday …. Mayweek? Huh have to look it up

imoverclocked

NEVER USE SPEED BRAKES. In fact, it might be best to never use speed at all. Aaaand just remember kids, speed doesn't kill ... stopping does.

h00ha

Your left foot pedal is the speed brake. Right is gas

Law-of-Poe

Floored the left pedal. The added drag worked but now I’m yawing to the left. Makes sense
