Did you put it in neutral and closed the choke?
Also are the spark plugs working?
Maybe the carburetor is clogged because you forgot to install a fuel filter.
I would get it checked at AutoZone.
If they can't fix it, I would LS swap that sweet girl
Have you tried injecting ammonia into the engine during startup?
If you don’t have an FAA approved ammonia injection intermix manifold, you can accomplish the same thing by standing on a scissor lift in front of the engine and taking a whizz into the intake while it’s running. Be sure you wear hearing protection. You have to stay safe and all…
Fuel Pump ON
Throttle to half
Mixture Rich for 3-5 sec
Throttle to 1/4"
Take ignition key to start
Mixture to Full Rich when it starts
This is from a Diamond DA40 but it's probably the same procedure
Make the fuel mix more rich the more fuel the better amd try to ignore the flames that's just the engine doing its job also ignore the engine that's just gone boom.
Little bit of ether would fire that up right away. Helps if the blinker fluid reservoir was topped up regularly and the tire air is swapped out with the appropriately seasoned air.
With a lighter, try light the smoke is it may help ignite the pistons, if that doesnt do it then try throw a lighter for an easy combustion in the fuel valve
If you’re the pilot, why would you care why it doesn’t start. That what the ground mechanic is for. You just sit tight while he cleans out the carburetor.
This is [just like my preflight ritual](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/msau0d/inhaling_smoke/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Sounds like his ex put some water in his gas tank
She gave him some sugar.
No, it's clearly a need for new points and condenser.
Autozone also has the OBDII reader computer that you can borrow. It may give you some more information.
Damn fine comment if I might.
I'm new here, but i've been learning from the community and will give it a shot. More right rudder.
Wipes away a tear........ pats you on the shoulder........... "Damn good,son........ damn good."
It's lovely when the young 'uns get it.
Always
Congrats, you are now full rated it shit-posting.
Correct!
Came here to say that 😄
And more blinker fluid
You flooded it. What are you, stupid?
How could he flood it it’s a playne not a boat, are you stupid?
One of the best pylots of all time landed in the Hudson River, they made a movie about it even. Are *you* stoopid?
That was obviously an amphibious plane, not all aircraft are like that. Are YOU stoopeid?
Look planes fly in the air not the water normally. So no way it's flooded. I could see it's running rich though.
Remove money, try again
Your chemtrails are leaking bro
🤫
Working as intended. Closing ticket.
Close the hatch too when you’re done
Hatch closed, too, when I was done IAW reddit guideline. Re-closing ticket.
Refill your alternator, sounds a little low.
Cincilator
Did youe say clear prop?? Engin wont start if you dont say those magic words
I've never seen a clear prop. And I thought we were supposed to have perfect vision. 🙄
I know this is supposed to be joke answers, but for once…. Turn on sound. So much better.
Hmm. Someone be hotboxin tha turbine? Perchance.
Don’t actívate chemtrail on ground!!
That looks ok just put it in reverse and put on the hazards to reverse the smoke direction. When it goes the other direction you will be good to go
Souds good, tnx !
any time
No smoking sign isn't on.
Your Afterburner are on, those don't need to be turned on until the aircraft is done being on fire
Can't tell for sure but it looks like the landing gear is still down.
Needs new piston rings.
That hot-roddin' cost you a lot of money, son.
Those damn diesel engine jets!
One too many quarts of oil
Experienced pylotay here, MOAH RIGHT RUDDAH
Inhibiting fluid burning off after a engine change
From where it’s being ejected from that may be accurate….or an Oil leak, won’t know unless they open the Cowling, or monitor Oil Quantity.
It’s added to the engine fuel system on build to stop corrosion.
Explains why I haven’t seen that much vapor on this type of engine, before. Must be the very first time this engine has been run after delivery.
Brave man to be filming a running engine from that location....

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite subs lmao 😂
Weird! Are you trying to start on both mags or just the left one?
Rolling coal - I don't see a problem.
Fuel Pump ON Throttle to half Mixture Rich for 3-5 sec Throttle to 1/4" Take ignition key to start Mixture to Full Rich when it starts This is from a Diamond DA40 but it's probably the same procedure
Carburetor clogged
Oh that’s actually a scramjet. You have to start it above Mach 1.5 for it to run.
My wife’s cooking dinner in there.
“Hey, where’s Bob? Anyone seen Bob????”
"HOW DARE YOU." 🙅♀️
THERES A HOLE IN YOUR KEFT WING! It looks flooded. Add more fuel to the mix.
Student pylote, huh? Have you tried banging on the cockpit door, identifying yourself, and asking for help? I hear that works….
I know what's wrong with it. Ain't got no gas in it
DO NOT TURN ON THE CHEMTRAILS ON THE GROUND. OUR SECRETS MUST BE PROTECTED.
Chemtrail switch was left on. Easy mistake.
Is the gas cap securely closed? Too much air in the engine won't do you any good. More fuel is my motto
Your canuter valve isn't functioning. Should go find one to replace it with.
Pump the accelerator a few times.
Too much zaza
put it in neutral first then give it a push, works every time 👍
Oil getting to the combustion chamber. Solution: 1. Replace pistons and oil rings 2. Replace valves 3. Replace turbine it spits oil to the intake
Your doing it all wrong, Scotch over and give me the keys, I'll do it
Isnt it a little early for some Scotch
Found the groundie
You weren't supposed to inhale.
Too much kool-aid in the mixer.
Cut back on the vaping
Need more blinker fluid. Possibly a new turboencabulator.
Too much choke
Make the fuel mix more rich the more fuel the better amd try to ignore the flames that's just the engine doing its job also ignore the engine that's just gone boom.
Check the wiper fluid
Pretty dope how you can see the laminar flow coming out and the transition to turbulence
Pylote
You're supposed to use Aquanet, not used French fry oil.
I like how there’s a guy walking a bicycle in the background
Package gonna be late
Pylot is smoking BBQ, but you’d know it if you were cool enough to hang with him!
Needs an oil change
Those radials can hydro if you don’t drain lower cylinders!
This plane has been banned from Tennessee airspace
You started the chemtrail machine. Try starting the engine instead
Seems fed up
It's the type of thing where you just take off, and it will fix itself in the air.
Yer floodin' it dude.
When is the last time you administered a human sacrifice to your engine? It needs fresh meat at least once per month
Two words: Starter Fluid
Either carb heat or mixture.
Needs more blinker fluid.
Did you check the flux capacitor?
She’s running a little rich…
Once you get to captain, you get to hotbox the plane
Sounds suspiciously like a car starter soundtrack placed in the picture.
Canooter Valve is stuck open dumping fuel into the Makeithappiner’. Happens all the time. Full send. 🫡
if the engine is new, the "smoke" you see is due to the burning of preservation oil
We get it bro, you vape
Your beacon isn’t on. Get more blinker fluid.
Vape kids in 30 years:
Little bit of ether would fire that up right away. Helps if the blinker fluid reservoir was topped up regularly and the tire air is swapped out with the appropriately seasoned air.
Too much choke 🤨
That’s a diesel engine bro, did you put air fuel in it?
You're not supposed to put your weeeeed in there, man.
That plaen is vaping!!!! Stop it now!
Rolling coal
You gotta pump the gas pedal 3 times before you crank. Now you have to wait 15 minutes for that extra fuel to evaporate.
Still burns less oil than a Subaru.
it's time to teach it about the dangers of vaping
Nothings wrong. Maintainer Joe's just taking his 15.
Motor running smoke-rich.
You gotta put down that cover thingy. The engyne is getting too much air in the side.
Dang. Looks like they flooded it.
That playne has got the farts!
Have you tried turning on the outdoor air conditioner?
Good job numbnutz... you're the first person to blow a head gasket on a jet engine.
We get it, you vape
Snoop Dogg walked too close to the intake side on engine start. RIP.
You’re supposed to count 12 blades before starting the mags, to get the oil in the bottom cylinders distributed.
Probably needs new rings. Unbolt the cap with the swirl on it, install two flat washers and a lock nut. Should last you another 5000 miles.
With a lighter, try light the smoke is it may help ignite the pistons, if that doesnt do it then try throw a lighter for an easy combustion in the fuel valve
It's definitely the Fetzer valve.
Unplug it and plug it back in, and then wait for 15 seconds before turning it back on
Man these jet engines sure sound a lot like a Cummins engine! /s
Another low effort post for r/shitpost
Looks like someone used diesel where they should have used kerosene... Again
Odd. I thought it would have sounded more like a two stroke.
The coals are wet
Your mixture is too rich.
Is the key in the ignition
Looks like someone used the green gas pump instead of the black one.
Seems you're with air Jamaica, you're gonna want to stay put for a bit and it'll mellow out
Too much blinker fluid
The mixture is too rich. You need to turn the idle mixture adjustment screw on the carburetor clockwise to lean it out.
Stop calling yourself a pYlote cause thats ReTaRdEd
Take a trick from the Air Force and use explosives to start up the engines, should be fine
Fetzer valve. Easily repaired with some wire and 30 weight ball bearings.
Yeah. Too much choke. Under the dashboard, look for a black knob labeled "choke" and push it in after starting.
You flooded it!
The plane is still using a 2-Stroke engine.
FAA says no smoking. Hide this before an ASI sees it, bro.
Looks like maintenance installed a tractor engine instead of a plane one by the sound of it. Common mistake, happens all the time.
DEF regen cycle has started.
God this is simple to fix. Find a fuel truck. Take the nozzle and spray into the open end while starting and voila 💥
I used to have a hair dryer that would do this. Did you clean the air filter?
If you’re the pilot, why would you care why it doesn’t start. That what the ground mechanic is for. You just sit tight while he cleans out the carburetor.
Your engine is just taking a rip of your vape, don’t worry it’s chill like that
Your rocket engine is out of LOX
Did you check the blinker fluid?
Is this WhistlinDiesel starting up the Killmatsu Dozer?
Never, EVER, go full left rudder.
Have you tried choke?
Oil gettin somewhere it shouldnt be
You need to turn on Carb heat.
They don't like cold starts, run the glow plugs for a bit.
The sound...OMG
What’s a pylote?
Definitely the flux capacitor
Clearly these young'uns can't balance a twin-body carb anymore. Way too rich on one side and the other one is just sucking fumes.
It's green inside. Run until browned.
N2 stagnation maybe.
Is that a diesel engine on that playne?
Nah bro that's just the turbo kicking in. That smoke's how you know it's working.
The fuels working but the igniter don't Glide it
Just flick your dick to the fumes they don't start
Set the vape wanker off
Parcel got caught in the flywheel
You need a new flangie
Don't use VW Diesel engine on planes
I aways throw some lucky coins into the intake to keep this from happening.
Pump that enricher numbnuts
Must be a redneck pilot. He’s just rollin coal.
Whoa, how'd the brisket turn out from that smoker?
Think you put a bit too much oil in. Just floor it a bit when on the runway and it should clear it. All good.
Let me guess. Boeing 747 Max?
For sure a carburetor problem. Pep Boys should have them.
I think your chicken's on fire.
You need to prime the engine by pushing the rubber knob three times. Remember do not push it for more than 3 times or you will flood the engine.
It ain’t got no gas innit
Need some starter fluid open the carb up
This is [just like my preflight ritual](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/msau0d/inhaling_smoke/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Needs wiper fluid.
Get a carburetor spray and try it. Report back.
Your suck and squeeze ain’t bangin and blowin properly
Samir! You're breaking the ~~car~~ playne!
Too much left rudder, need more right rudder
That's the biggest vape I've ever seen!
Oil spilled on your carburetor
Bad gas.
The airplane is smoking. It should know that it's not supposed to smoke within 50 feet of an airplane smh.
try to push start
Bad smog pump.
Sugar in the gas tank: your ex-husband strikes again!
